We’re glad you found the home clean and well-located near Currumbin Creek and the beach. Regarding the air conditioning, the listing outlines which rooms are air-conditioned to help guests plan accordingly. Your enquiry about compensation was passed to the owners promptly, with follow-up from our team. Due to a personal matter, their response was delayed. While there were discussions about a goodwill gesture, the owners ultimately chose not to offer compensation, as your early departure was not due to an official evacuation or property closure. As stated in our terms, we can’t offer refunds or alternative stays for changes caused by weather or other events beyond our control. We always recommend travel insurance for such circumstances.
