Enjoyable beach condo, as advertised

Condo was exactly as advertised. Great location on the 6th floor. High enough to have good views but not too high to occasionally take the stairs when needed (which you may need to do. The elevators are incredibly slow during busy times of day). Enjoyed our stay.

Vacation 2022

Loved the condo. It was just as advertised. The only downfall to our visit was the elevators. Luckily the condo is on the 6th floor and we were able to take the stairs.

Love the location... friendly staff

Only complaints were a stinky kitchen sink, slow draining master bath sink, and lots of bird poop on the balcony. Maintenance took care of sinks and it looked like they tried to clean some poop off balcony but we still didn’t feel comfortable going out on the balcony because there was still some there.

Thunder beach stay

The condo is beautiful but needs a deep cleaning. The lampshades, molding, picture frames and decorative plants had a heavy layer of dust. The kitchen counter had something sticky on it. The floor rugs need to be washed. It's a shame because this is a beautiful property.

Clean room, but lacking in amenities

Room was clean, but kitchen was lacking in supplies. Description listed blender and this wasn't true. Not many utensils and pans were very poor. Made cooking in a challenge. No dishwashing soap was left in the room. Otherwise room was sufficient and we enjoyed the beach.

A dozen years at Tidewater

The previous reviews were accurate for this unit. We did have a nice stay but there are mechanical issues for this unit. Air conditioner makes loud noise when it cycles on. Washer is extremely loud. Bird poop all over balcony. The front toilet would not quit running when flushed. I sent 3 messages to property management when we were here. Three times people came out. Once housekeeping. Twice Maintenance. Our stay was extended due to the hurricane path not being determined. We arrived 3 days late and Panhandle did work with us on staying longer after the 3rd call. I think they were flooded with calls during the impending storm. I will visit Tidewater again. This unit would need work before I would book it again.

Spring Break 615

This condo was not awful, just not as clean as I would like. The elevators are not as bad as everyone states they are. The view was amazing and the best part of the condo. There was not enough cooking supplies/utensils if you plan on doing that much. The location was good too. It was a little too crowded or me, but that's what happens when your in a place that big on spring break!

Don't Stay Here

There were several issues that my family and I had at this location (both the unit and the overall property) that really ruined our trip. Below is a listing of the issues that we had: - Loud wind tunnel sounds every night that kept our kids up (the bunk bed is right inside the entry door) - The remote controls were broken and I had to reboot all components when I arrived as nothing worked when we arrived. - The hair dryer was broken and didn't work - Unless you want to overpay per day to sit 3 rows deep away from the ocean, you will have quite a hike to get a spot on the beach. - The pipes in the unit were extremely loud with a humming sound any time you turn on a faucet and / or flush the toilet. - There were multiple used cigarettes on the patio - Lights were out (in the kitchen specifically) when we arrived - The sheets had really bad stains on them - The silverware in the drawer had caked on food on the supposedly clean silverware. - The elevators at this facility are horrible. Most of the time unless you are using the elevators very late and night or early in the morning had at least a 10 minute wait. We had to take the stairs most of the time if we did not want to wait a long time. We had a 37 minute wait for an elevator when we checked in with our bags (so taking the elevator was not a realistic option). The app on our phone was convenient as a single spot to go for all information (room code, wifi password, etc). So that was a positive but not enough to overtake all of the negatives. All in all, we will never stay at this facility again. The elevators alone were bad enough (thank heavens we were only on the 6th floor). I have pictures of all of the negatives if I they will let me add them.

Great weekend

Had a great time, only complaint is the elevators, wait time was ridiculous, other than that no complaints. The unit was very nice and the view was beautiful.

Need deep cleaning

Actually I had a wonderful 15 days vacation... but before I needed to clean up whole apartment. I came with two small kids... All appliances, walls, cabinets, doors, mirrors, floor were dirty and a lot of dust. I asked for cleaning, nobody came, next day I asked for vacuum (the vacuum in apartment doesn’t work), nobody even answered me. I spent a day and bought some supplies for cleaning... I did it myself... for my kids. Elevators are horrible, believe me, I spent around 10-30 min every time. Wonderful view, location at least...

Beautiful views!

The condo has amazing views! The sunsets were amazing to watch while sitting on the balcony. Prefect level...not too high and not too low. We enjoyed our stay at tidewater. The only complaint is the elevators. They take forever. Average wait time was about 10-15 minutes. But since this condo is on the sixth floor we mostly just took the stairs. Kind of inconvenient when your hauling ice chest and beach stuff but we made it work. The overall facility is really nice. There is a small store where you can buy ice, beer, beach stuff, etc. The pools were nice and one of them has a small bar. The beach was beautiful. I wouldn't recommend renting the beach chairs. It's kind of expensive and really not worth it. Bring your own chairs and umbrella. Overall I would stay here again!!

Views are unbelievable. Condo was clean and well decorated

Condo was clean, well stocked and decorated. I've stayed at Tidewater before in a different condo and 615 was much nicer . Can't beat the views. Everything was nice . Even the sleeper sofa was more comfortable than any other we've had kids sleep on before . If there's only one thing I can think of that the condo doesn't have is a full length mirror. Other than that and that's not much the bathroom rugs might be in need of a washing but with it being rented out so much that's understandable . Overall was a great stay and can't wait to come back .

Perfect condo for the beach.

Great condo. On the 6th floor. Has everything you need!! Has a Starbucks downstairs. Bring your chairs for the beach. The pools are great you can see the ocean while at the pool. Has hot tubs inside and out. Has huge work out room. The Wave Restaurant downstairs has the very best Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos!!! This is our 2 nd time here. One mile from Pier Park! McDonalds, Marcos Pizza right across street
