We had the best experience. The property was clean, the hot tub was phenomenal, and the views were great. It was central to everything on Wimberley Square and Blue Hole Regional Park! We couldn’t love it more. We will be back! Perfect little relaxing getaway.

What a wonderful, peaceful place to stay-it was exactly what we were looking for to get away! The cabin was squeaky clean and the instructions/directions that were left for us were all very clear too. The hot tub was a nice added bonus too. The kitchen had everything needed for our time away, and I have to say that the back porch and the zen view was our favorite!

Always a nice stay. We have stayed at this cabin several times and always live it!! Feels remote but is close to everything . Always enjoy the antique shops at wimberely and Blanco.

We had a girl's weekend and it was very relaxing! The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. The hot tub was wonderful! The cabin could use some updating but it was a nice getaway. I think it may be time to take down the waterfall and creek picture on the VRBO listing. That creek has been dry for some time as trees were growing in the middle! If you are booking for the water, it is bone dry. If you just want a relaxing cabin in nature, this one is great!

My wife and I stayed here for our 26th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful — a charming log cabin that is nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean inside. It has a lot of character and could have been a wonderful anniversary getaway.Unfortunately, two major issues really affected our stay. First, the listing gives the impression that the cabin sits on a creek with a beautiful waterfall. I understand the area may be in a drought, but there was no flowing creek, no waterfall, and really no water feature at all other than a small area of stagnant green water with mosquitoes. Since the creek and waterfall are such a big part of the appeal shown in the listing, I feel the current condition should be clearly disclosed.Second, and much more concerning, there was a serious mouse problem. We did not just see “signs” of mice — we saw mice openly running around inside the cabin like they owned the place. That is not acceptable in a rental property, especially during a special anniversary trip.Overall, the cabin itself is beautiful and has potential, but the listing needs to be more transparent about the creek/waterfall, and the mouse issue needs to be fully addressed.
