Excellent residence

This place is perfectly located and so cozy. We had three adults and four kids. This home was the perfect size. Highly recommend booking this Tahoe home.

Nice place to stay

Clean property, love the queen beds in all rooms. Downstairs shower could be better, very high step into and out of tub.

We had a womdeful time at this property. Enough for us to spread out. It is a quiet street and we even saw a bear walking down the street. I have on suggestion and will not take off a star, but it may be a good idea to put some type of safety rail in the downstairs bathroom. That beautiful tub is deep and is a bit difficult to get out if a bit on the shorter side. Otherwise this property was perfect for us. Thank you.

The house was easy to find, even with the local construction. The cabin was clean, although a bit. run down in the bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom had black something on the white floor board behind the toilet. and tub,( we didn't use it). The. shelf above the upstairs toilet needed a sanding & painting. The kitchen had silverware, but only 3 spoons. The Mr. Coffee didn't work! The upstairs bedrooms didn't have full curtains covering the windows. The floors creaked . . . a lot! The washer and dryer worked although loud. *I'd check the dryer, not much collected in the dryer screen and it took a while to dry, might need to clean out dryer vents.*. All that being said we had a great time!! If a few of those things could be fixed, we'd stay again.

Mixed bag

Rented this house for 2 nights. Pros) Great furnace Good location Cons) Pretty worn out and dated, but clean. Uncomfortable mattresses with flimsy and ill fitting sheets. Cupboards should be emptied of old spice bottles, and other expired food items. My biggest issue is that the power went out with no way of knowing when it would be restored. Having a 3 year old with us, the house became super cold and we became concerned for his well-being. The stove is electri so we could not even cook anything. Spoke with the property manager and told him that we would be leaving since we had no idea of when power would come back on. I realize that the issue was no fault of the owner, but I felt partial refund would have been nice for the night we lost out on. We left the house in great condition as well. No partial refund, or any contact from them at all. Very disappointed.

Bare minimum amenities & a broken bed.

This cabin had a lot of potential but had major issues and bare minimum amenities. The king bed mattress was damaged and dirty. We had to rotate it just to make it sleepable. The other bed downstairs appeared to be previously repaired with plywood and broken. We messaged the property manager right away that it was broken and they said they would contact the owner to have it fixed - that didn’t happen and our guest had to sleep on the floor on an old twin mattress found in the closet. There were NO extra linens except for 1 very old electric blanket. Each bed had exactly 1 fitted sheet, 1 thin top sheet and 1 thin comforter. There were extra pillows but no pillow cases. No bath mats. Only 1 dish towel. This was also brought to the attention of the property manager who said they would tell the owner however no resolution during our trip. We ended up buying blankets. There is also a lot of wear and tear throughout the cabin. Holes in doors. Broken parts of the fridge. Damaged (but mostly functional) furniture. The hair dryer was also broken. The TV remotes had low batteries. We also found a pair of dirty socks under the coffee table. This place has a lot of potential but do NOT recommend.

Unable to access one of the rooms.

My experience with the property was poor. One of the rooms was locked with a key, so we could not enter it for the first night, and had no response from the property owner to assist getting in. I eventually was able to pick the lock essentially via an internet hack, but only on day 2. So for the first day my kids had to sleep on a couch with no linens or real pillows. Nice... Also, the owners have so much turned off it's a PITA to get things working. Took me 30 minutes to get the pilot lit for the water heater, and almost all of the breakers were off too so in arriving at night it was a pain to get in and get the family settled. The place was clean, but a bit worn-out, so that and the issues with locking guest out of rooms they paid for (and not making any attempt to help or even partially refund) makes me mark it a 2 star overall.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - You reached out to the local Guest Contact well after midnight advising you needed assistance in getting the door unlocked as your baby's diaper bag was inside the locked room. - Due to the late hour, the Guest Contact did not see your text until the next day. Once they saw it, they contacted the owner about the situation immediately. The owner was able to send someone to the property to replace the door knob in that bedroom so it did not happen again, and your group was able to retrieve your belongings. - The owner was at the property right before your arrival, and all outlets and breakers were working. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Has potential

Great location, easy check in. First impression- went to front door to get in- door handle on the screen fell off. Bedrooms are roomy.. bathrooms need work. It appeared it had all the cooking supplies- we did not make any meals. For a large ish group it’s doable. Only slept at house- had evening and day plans in South Lake Tahoe. Steps leading out back are sorta shaky- needs repair.

This cabin was really clean and it had everything you need!

We all enjoyed our stay. It had everything you needed. This cabin was also nice from the outside and nice from the inside. Everything worked perfectly fine we had no problems. We would love to live in there! Also the neighborhood we were in was amazing!

Nice little cabin

Cabin was nice and cozy. One thing was bad lighting in the living room. That one lamp does it no justice. Another thing is the heater wouldn’t warm up the cabin too well. Over all it was a nice stay. 🙂

Great place to stay with your family.

Place was clean and near the Lake Tahoe and stores. Also a great spot to watch bears at night lol just try not to leave food near by the house or outside.

4 day stay in Tahoe

Good location and easy drive to Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake. Bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning, floor, bath mats and tub needed attention. Kitchen supplies not enough for number of guests listed, only 3 forks. We were asked to load and start the dishwasher but no dishwasher soap available. Indoor dining only for 6.

Cleanliness could’ve been better

Overall it was as described, the only thing I didn’t like was that the floors were so dirty. The furniture downstairs was dusty and the downstairs bathroom was clogged and the bathroom carpet smelled like urine. Thankfully my husband was able to unclog the bathroom downstairs but for the price paid I would’ve expected a cleaner place. Everything else was good, the area was peaceful, the backyard was big, they had a fire pit and they even had a trampoline! My kids had the best time on it. We really enjoyed our stay
