Brookside Retreat: Patio Streamside, Cheminée, Writer's Studio, Walk to Village Green!

Brookside Retreat est idéalement situé dans une rue calme surplombant Tannery Brook, un ruisseau toute l'année qui traverse le village de Woodstock et juste devant la maison!

Ce bungalow d'artiste récemment rénové et historique dispose d'un vaste patio en pierre bleue (avec une cheminée extérieure intégrée), d'une terrasse couverte et de passerelles qui donnent sur le ruisseau ~ ainsi que d'une grande pelouse paysagée et clôturée.

Trois chambres peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes (voir détails ci-dessous). En outre, il y a une cuisine de campagne récemment rénovée et entièrement équipée; une salle à manger séparée (8 places); et un salon spacieux avec un plafond cathédrale, des lucarnes, des fenêtres nord à 2 étages, une cheminée au gaz avec une cheminée en pierre apparente ~ et un piano!

La propriété dispose même d'un studio d'écrivain séparé (avec un canapé futon dépliable), pour une contemplation tranquille, des congés sabbatiques de travail ou des débordements.

Brookside Retreat est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade romantique, des vacances en famille ou une retraite personnelle!

DES CHAMBRES
Il y a 3 chambres: 1) une chambre principale avec un lit king-size, des portes vitrées qui s'ouvrent sur une terrasse privée et une salle de bains privative; 2) une chambre d'amis avec un lit queen-size, un plafond cathédrale, des fenêtres surdimensionnées et une salle de bain partagée; et 3) une chambre d'enfants avec un lit bébé, des lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit futon dépliable.

ANIMAUX DOMESTIQUES
Les chiens bien élevés et entraînés dans des caisses sont considérés ~ veuillez demander. Veuillez noter que des frais de 75 $ par animal s'appliquent.

ANNULATIONS ET REMBOURSEMENTS
Un avis de trente jours est requis pour les annulations. Toutes les annulations sont soumises à des frais d'annulation de 10% ou 100 $. 00 (le plus élevé des deux). This place was top drawer - beautiful setting by the stream - just a couple minutes walk into town but you would never know it - it was so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything you might possibly need, beds were comfortable, outdoor fireplace was great. Plenty of room to run around both inside and out. Our family has been to the Woodstock area many times over the last 20 years and we all agree this house ranks right at the top.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brookside retreat! The grounds were so beautiful, especially after the rain, with the sound of the creek very soothing and peaceful. Highly recommend eating at Nirvana for excellent Indian fair. The Hardwoods played at Pearl Moon and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. Everything was very neat and the beds were so comfortable. We especially were thankful for the raincoats and umbrella that were provided since we did not pack our own. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and relaxing vacation home

Brookside Retreat was everything we could have wished for in a vacation home. The house is even bigger than the photos show, the property is beautiful, and being right next to a stream surrounded by trees while only a few blocks from stores made it just perfect. The house is wonderfully equipped and the property manager was immediately accessible when a question came up. We definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful brook-side retreat in Woodstock center

We absolutely loved the property and our stay. The home is comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the gas fireplace, large kitchen and the patio overlooking the stream. Amazing time!

We had such a great stay with my toddler and 2 dogs! The area is extremely dog friendly and walking distance to all the best coffee shops and restaurants ! The fully fenced yard gave us such a peace of mind. The house was clean, fully stocked with anything one might need and the appliances were all updated and worked great! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful Experience!

This cottage in Woodstock was perfect for our group. The master bedroom is spacious, as is the kitchen and living room area, and it the heat worked unbelievably well considering the very cold temperatures over the weekend we were there. The outdoor and indoor fireplaces both added to the experience. The property manager was also extremely communicative, which was helpful leading up to our stay. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Warm, welcoming and cozy!

Great country house, well situated near town, with stream in the rear. Would definitely stay here agin. Excellent communication with the owner, whose attention to detail helps to make this a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen -- pretty much everything you might need. This is a cozy house, not a fancy house. Very comfortable for a family. Stairs are a bit steep for little kids with kids beds upstairs.

Cozy home close to everything. The babbling brook soothes the soul. Placement of bedrooms and baths provided both convenience and privacy for each of us. The kitchen provided all utensils and equipment we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. Excellent service from property manager. Highly recommend! Fabulous Getaway

Thanks so much. We had a wonderful time and are just sorry it was so short. My daughters enjoyed walking into town, while my son loved the stream. I relaxed, sitting on the deck off the master and reading my book. We drove to Phonecia and visited Cooper Lake.  My son was able fish at Wilson Park, although he didn't catch anything we all loved the park and sandwiches from the Cub.  Dinner was delightful and interesting at Joshua's and scones from Bread Alone were fabulous. The house was perfect. The gas fire, the blue stone patio, the stocked kitchen and more.  We roasted marshmallows one night and made s'mores. Hopefully, we can visit again. Thanks so much.
