Bienvenue au charme de Chandler! Cet adorable chalet est à la hauteur de son nom. Récemment rénové avec une immense terrasse donnant sur le magnifique lac Chandler tous sports. Profitez des superbes couchers de soleil depuis les grandes fenêtres du chalet, le nouveau pont ou le nouveau quai. Profitez de la faune abondante. Le lac Chandler est un super petit lac sans beaucoup de trafic maritime. Excellente pêche. Grand lac pour le kayak, les tubes, le ski, le paddle board. Profitez du lac en kayak (2 inclus dans la location) ou louez notre bateau ponton de 22 'pour votre plaisir de croisière.

Nous avons vraiment consacré du temps supplémentaire à créer de superbes vacances, du lit de canoë-paddle aux suspensions en seaux de vairon récupérés. Cuisine entièrement équipée et lits et mobilier confortables. Nouveaux matelas en mousse à mémoire dans les deux chambres. Nous avons également ajouté un nouveau chauffe-eau et un adoucisseur d'eau. Vous adorerez tous les détails et voudrez revenir année après année!

Parmi les nombreuses grandes choses que cette propriété a à offrir, il y a le vaste terrain offrant une intimité supplémentaire pour que vous puissiez profiter du lac paisible et du quartier. Directement en face de la route calme se trouve un parc de 80 acres avec des sentiers pédestres et cyclables, un pavillon, une petite aire de jeux et des toilettes. Un peu plus loin sur la route se trouve le parc Grace McDonald avec des courts de tennis, du basket-ball, une balle de wally, une grande aire de jeux, un terrain de baseball, de vastes sentiers, des grilles et des tables de pique-nique.

Ce cadre champêtre vous fera penser que vous êtes au milieu de nulle part, mais vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Traverse City et des attractions de la région. C'est génial d'avoir le meilleur de tout et c'est ce que propose Chandler's Charm.

The view is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the patio and dock thoroughly. We had a little issue no one’s fault the well seized and we were without water for about 12 hour while being taken care. Sally the host bent over backwards in every way to accommodate us. She’s amazing and handled the situation exactly how it should have been.. we also had the best pizza ever at the little place up the road! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Chandler's Charming cottage was absolutely perfect. Great deck with a wonderful view of the lake. Lots of trees on the property and a 50-acre forest park across the street for nature hikes with my dog. Very quiet and peaceful. The host, Sally Washington, was very warm, friendly, and responsive. Chandler's Charming cottage was a perfect place to relax and be at peace. I will return in the future, probably many times.

Very quiet, nearly had the lake to myself. Close enough to Traverse City to pop in for dinner or shopping. Very clean and comfortable lodgings.

Cute house, it was remodeled well. The walk to the lake is not for the weak so keep that in mind, LOTS of stairs and watch out for the loose step towards the bottom near the dock, it about took me out a few times. The cottage was clean aside from that bathroom rug/mat and all the windows and slider door tracks are caked with spider webs and bugs. But my biggest issues where the beds, horrible uncomfortable, my body was aching, it didn’t help that the pillows where cheap and flat. Secondly, we had planned to bring our small fishing boat but after booking I found out the host does not allow you to bring your own boat, every house on that tiny lake has a boat and they aren’t being used, our 14ft fishing boat would not have been an issue. For the price paid and the terrible mattresses I personally don’t think it was worth it BUT it’s a very cute little cottage and my kids loved it (aside from the sleeper sofa, my son still has a stiff back).

After years of great reviews and many return guests year after year, it was quite shocking to see your review. We pride ourselves in quickly responding to our guests when they have questions or issues. It's unfortunate that you didn't reach out to me during your stay. We could have fixed/addressed some of the items you mentioned. Regarding the bugs - on the outside of the window screens and outside track of the sliders - our lake is surrounded by forests. There are bugs. I'm glad that your children enjoyed their time at Chandler's Charm. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review.

Great summer get-away!

Chandler's Charm certainly was a charming place to stay. The lake is a perfect place to kayak, paddleboard, swim and relax. The cottage is well-maintained, clean and comfy. with all the amenities you need. We would stay there again!

Beautiful cottage

We had a great time at Traverse City during our visit. This cottage was beautiful, clean, and just perfect for our getaway. It had enough places for our toddler to run around and it's close driving distance to playgrounds, hiking, and shops. We will be coming back.

Cute cabin, everything was clean and organized. The only drawback we could even imagine was the walk down to the lake. The flights of stairs were safe, but many. Good location for grocery stores and easy access to Travers city.

House was perfect for our family of 4. Set along a nice quiet lake. We enjoyed the kayaks. House was stocked with everything we needed. Mattresses were very comfortable. Sally was Wonderful! Guests should be aware that the shower has about 2’x2’ of standing space inside.

We're so happy that your family enjoyed their time at Chandler's Charm. It really is a peaceful setting for relaxing and making memories. After reading your review, I had to get my tape measurer out lol. The shower is actually 34" X 32". We try to make at least one improvement each season. For this season, it was the addition of the washer and dryer - which all of our guests have appreciated. We are planning to reconfigure the shower and closet prior to next season so that the cottage will offer a larger shower. We already have the tile for it! We would love to host your family again in the future! Sally
