This lovely vacation rental home features updates throughout and a unique floorplan that all guests will enjoy. Take in the spectacular ocean views from the second level deck, feel the ocean breeze from the first level screened porch, or walk down the private boardwalk from the backyard to go to the beach. Guests will love staying in this almost 4,000 square foot home with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and two living areas.

Walk through the welcoming door right into the common space of the home and immediately notice the beautiful hardwood floors, the built-ins, amazing ceilings, and coastal theme. The main living area offers a large mounted flatscreen TV, a L-shaped sofa, and 2 chairs. Grab a refreshing drink from the wet bar with wine cooler and separate ice maker. The large kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, bar stool seating for 4 at the island, and is equipped with everything needed to enjoy a meal while on vacation. The dining room comfortably seats 6 for meals but has 2 leaves with 2 additional chairs that can be added. Enjoy the extra living space in the screened porch with plenty of comfortable seating and a nearby gas grill. 4 out of the 5 bedrooms are also on this level. A king bed with nearby bath, queen bedroom with private access to a hall bath, and parent-child suite featuring a queen bedroom and a bedroom with twin-over-full bunk beds share a bathroom. Head upstairs to the spacious master suite which features a king bed, sitting area, private bathroom, and access to the deck with ocean views.

This one of a kind home is sure to provide truly special memories with family and friends! With direct access to a private boardwalk from the back yard, guests can easily enjoy time at the beach.

The home is equipped with a washer, dryer and high-speed wireless internet. Guests have access to the 2 car garage.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation.

Beach vacation
The home was a lovely home and a great place to be with family. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was so nice having our own boardwalk down to the beach. Overall we would highly recommend this home and are considering coming back

We loved our stay in Kiawah. The house was perfect with many food and drink storage. We loved the screened in porch. Short walk down the dock to the beach. We saw many deer and other wildlife around!

Comfortable. Large kitchen and living areas. Good access to the beach. Liked the property. Living room upholstery was a bit soiled. Porch furniture cushions more so. Burned out light in lower bedroom. Shower curtain in lower bedroom had notable mold. Felt owner who appreciate this feedback. Regardless, we still enjoyed our time there

Memorable Kiawah Beach front
Great location behind the second gate. Wonderful trip for our family in this beautiful, well-kept home. Definitely will return. And easy walk to the beach down a private boardwalk short drive to the Ocean Course and to the sanctuary for world class dining.

We appreciated all the refrigeration & the ice maker was awesome. The second story view was beautiful. A double oven would have been helpful. Garage access was nice. The upper level primary mattress was uncomfortable. It would have helped to have a working dryer the first 2 days, but we were pleased with the quick repair. Overall, a memorable & fun stay!

What a place!!
Our family stayed at 24 Surfsong for 2 weeks (Jan, 2023) and could not have been happier - what a spectacular place! Positives * Akers-Ellis (property manager) was awesome! Proactive communication via multiple channels; super-responsive to inquiries/needs; and a seamless check-in/check-out protocol. * House location is perfect - middle of the island; beachfront; beautiful neighborhood. * Quality of the home is awesome! Plenty of room for folks to have some privacy, but design of house provides multiple areas for everyone to be together if they want. * All of the fixtures/finishes are top-notch - you feel like you are living in the lap of luxury at 24 Surfsong. * The home has everything - never ran out of coffee cups, silverware, etc.. It's clear the owners want their renters to have an 'at-home' experience and they spared no expense to making sure that happens. We've rented a lot of homes via VRBO and normally leave suggestions for 'enhancement opportunities'. In the case of 24 Surfsong we have very little to suggest other than more trashcans are needed as families of 8+ generate a lot of trash on a vacation! There wasn't a Keurig when we go there, but we bought one and left it for future users :)! It took us about 2 days to contact Akers-Ellis to book the home for the same two weeks next January - we only wish we could stay longer! Lastly, our youngest daughter got engaged on the beach in front of the home! We can't thank the owner's enough for making their beautiful home available to families like ours - life is about making memories, and we hope we'll have many more at 24 Surfsong! Family getaway
Rented this property for the kiawah marathon weekend. Perfect spot on the race course to cheer on runners and then later to walk to the beach or relax with family in the beautiful house. Love this spot.

Beautiful property - will rent again!
Our party was a group of four couples staying here for a friend's wedding and our entire stay was wonderful. The property manager is extremely responsive. The home is so spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The access to the beach is incredible. Will definitely consider staying again next time we are in town.

Especially loved the screened porch and nice that bedrooms are at one side of the house and kitchen at the others - so didn’t have to worry about waking up the kids once they were in bed. Also, was nice to have the extra living space with tv for the kids. We would definitely rent this again.
