Enjoy the modern conveniences while staying in this historic 2 story home. Situated in the College Grove neighborhood allows you to enjoy popular attractions including the Kansas State Fair, HCC, Cosmopolitan, Hutch Sports Arena, Clayworks, and the Main Street of Hutch all within a short walk from the home. For the outdoor enthusiast, the Dillion Nature Center, Hutchinson Zoo, Carey Park, Strataca Salt Mine, and the local water park Salt are short drives away.

As the sun sets on your day, relax in the tree lined fenced back yard with a growler from one of the local breweries while working on your chip shot. When the sun goes down, take a load off in the large living room equipped with a 50” smart TV. Regardless of how you choose to spend your time in Hutch, this home will provide you with the opportunity to enjoy all the area has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The house was spotless, water pressure in showers was great. The house is surprisingly large inside. Inspite of temps in the 90’s, the house stayed cool.

Great spot if you're traveling with kiddos. Fenced in backyard to get some wiggles out, spacious front porch, splash pad within 5 min. Safe staircase, and the layout allows the kids to sleep while parents can still watch TV downstairs without disrupting them. One note of caution is that the beds sit on a platform base, covered by bedding. Only one of us was spared banging their knee on the corner of the bed. Aside from that, very clean and well thought out home to stay in!

We were thrilled this property was available again for our Thanksgiving stay. It’s the perfect home for our family and pets. Warm thick towels, comfortable beds and we always love the historical charm of this centrally located home. The fence in back yard is large; bedrooms are spacious with walk in closets. Kitchen has all the basics covered including fresh coffee beans.

We really enjoyed our stay! This is an older home with a lot of character, and it truly felt warm and welcoming. The house was clean, comfortable, and very spacious, with everything we needed for a great visit. Unfortunately, because of the snow we weren’t able to enjoy the backyard this time, but we would have loved to. We did reach out to Patrick about a last-minute change to our guest count, and he was very helpful and accommodating. We truly appreciated our time here and will definitely plan to book again. Spring Break Visit

Me, my fiance, and our five children made a short trip to Hutchinson on spring break to visit the Cosmosphere. This house was beautiful and fit all of us comfortably. I loved its location too - quiet neighborhood that's close to pretty much anything you could want. We loved our mini vacation!

Our stay in Hutch

Some friends and stayed while attending a wedding. The place was outstanding. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and the smell of the neighbor smoking meat for Easter. The house is very comfortable. Will definitely book again if I return to the area.

Thanksgiving weekend stay

Had a great time in this beautiful, nicely decorated home. Everythi g was as advertised. Comfortable and spacious, easy to check in and out and clean! Only concern was the bedding needed an extra blanket as it was so cold and there was only a thin comforter which would be perfect for summer. All around wonderful.

Patrick and Heather live in Colorado, are married with 4 children, and have a blue heeler named Jack. Heather is a Colorado native and Patrick was born in Iowa and relocated to Denver as a child. Heather is a nurse while Patrick “retired” as a career firefighter to become a nurse with the idea to one day travel as nurses together. In our free time, we enjoy traveling, trying the local food and drink, and enjoying the great outdoors.

We originally purchased our property in Hutch to provide accommodations for Patrick while attending Hutch CC. Our property provided the three key elements that we wanted in a home: historic charm, convent location, and a relaxing outdoor environment. Our vision was to help alleviate stress of finding accommodations for Patrick traveling while providing a space to have friends and family over.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There is no question, we love sitting on the front porch enjoying our morning coffee while looking out over the brick paved street contemplating what to do for the day. The ability to walk to the grocery store, Cosmosphere, fairgrounds, restaurants on Main, or Hutch CC provides a much-appreciated change of pace from the big city for us. In the afternoons, we can be found chipping some golf balls hoping for a hole-in-one as a family. As the sun sets on the day, we enjoy having an ice-cold pint from one of the local breweries while relaxing on the back deck.
