Lots of space and Great Location

We enjoyed our stay, it was a great location in the golf cart community. Close to everything!! Nice home with lots of space.

Great host and perfect downtown location

Host is very accommodating, and we appreciate the owners great taste in artwork and decor that was perfectly paired with the uniqueness of each room in the home!! Very spacious, open with lots of windows and natural light. Comfy beds and lots of room for the family to spread out...all within a quick walk to Front Beach or Downtown Ocean Springs. Will book this next time we visit!

We had a great time. The property is beautiful, a little dated but nothing that would prevent me from staying again. The host was great to work with, communication was on point. My only suggestion would be adding more tvs to the home. It rained a few days we stayed and one TV wasn’t cutting it with multiple teenagers and children in the home. Overall it’s a wondering stay.

Wonderful area that was great for us and the pups (we have 3 corgis). We were close to beaches, food, attractions, etc... Connie was incredibly helpful and thoughtful and everything was perfect. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

New Years Visit

This was a great place for our family to stay. The teens had their space. The dogs were welcome. We walked to downtown. We walked the beach every evening. We felt safe the entire visit. I loved the artwork selected for the rooms. Beautifully decorated.

I HIGHLY recommend this house for anyone that is looking to enjoy the water and/or local attractions. The home itself is clean, stylish, and comfortable. Connie was so responsive and helpful as a host and went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!!

Hi Edmecka, we’re sorry your stay didn’t meet your expectations. The fibers on the black couch were polyester, not pet hair. As a gesture of goodwill, we provided a refund, replaced the shower curtain liner, and arranged for a professional deep cleaning of the floors and furniture for added reassurance. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for every guest, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve.

Enjoyable neighborhood

Only spent a couple days celebrating our anniversary. Loved the decor of the house. Every room is relaxing and comfortable. Only used back bedroom, but that bed has the best mattress we’ve ever found at a rental! The neighborhood is very enjoyable. Loved walking and driving around looking at all the houses. Each has its own unique personality. The area is tucked away from the bustle of tourist attractions but close enough for easy access.

From the owners: "Thank you for your feedback. The city recently re-paved the street near our driveway and it created a height difference between the pavement and my driveway. They will be putting gravel on the edge of the public right of way to alleviate the height difference. Since the railroad runs right through the middle of town, one may hear the train horn from at least four blocks on either side of the railroad, which is nearly to the beach. We are sorry that it disturbed you. We have advocated for a railroad “quiet zone.” It is an issue throughout the Coast, but most residents are accustomed to it. We hope to welcome you back!"

Cute Vintage house

The house was as described with a huge vintage feel. Very quite neighborhood just off a main highway to everything. The fridge did not work and the property manager sent a service guy but it could not be fixed. Thank goodness we had brought a cooler to at least have cold drinks. A tad disappointed I was not offered a discount as we could not have any food to prepare in the house with no fridge so had to eat every meal out which got expensive with 5 people. Overall was safe place to sleep and shower.

Looks Better Online than It Actually Is

For the cost, the property should be in better shape. The issues have to be known to owner and should have been taken care of before anyone arrived. The yard was unkempt. Grass was not mowed etc. Beds were weedy. The house is surface clean only. Both the house and refrigerator have funky bad smells. The house smell did get a little better when ac was on full blast but the smell in refrigerator never got better. Second bathroom was not stocked with extra toilet paper. House needs to be sprayed for roaches and spiders-saw both and it needs a deep cleaning. I can go with the flow most of the time but would never stay at this property again.

Hi Janis, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We were surprised to read your review as neither we nor the cleaning team detected any odors either before or after your stay. The house has been recently sprayed and sometimes that brings critters out a couple of days later, we have a regular pest control that manages the home. The yard has been cut and the beds cleaned but it was impossible to do so earlier in the month because of all the rain. While we apologize for the issues you encountered, we feel that the full refund was a fair resolution. We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.

Perfect location!

The property has its quirks, but overall it is a nice place in a perfect location! We loved being able to walk to Government street and the beach so easily! The beds were comfortable and there was lots of seating in the house. The sleeper sofa was a futon and not very comfortable, and I do not think it could fit 2 adults on it. Luckily the 7th person in our group was fine with sleeping on another sofa. The kitchen had the basics, but all of the pots, pans, and dishes needed to be washed before using and the knifes were not very sharp. We came for Thanksgiving, and did quite a bit of cooking while here, and the stove and oven work great! We could not get the ice dispenser to work, so we just got a bag of ice. We did a load of laundry, and could not get the dryer to actually dry the clothes. It took hours to dry. We could also not get the grill to work. The keypad was easy and convenient for us all to come and go. We loved the front porch. I had texted the property manager a question on the first day, and never got a reply. It wasn’t a big deal, so we weren’t too concerned about it. Overall, we had a great trip in Ocean Springs!

Comfortable and Clean Home

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable and clean home. It is well decorated with great art and furniture and the location can't be beat! The house had everything we needed to feel right at home. The neighbors are friendly and the host is super responsive and helpful. We will recommend this property to others!

Not necessarily luxury, but very clean and comfortable

Came here with my wife and two teen sons for a week's beach vacation, and we were mostly happy with the house. It offered us plenty of space, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean; the kitchen had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was quiet and actually very pretty (other homes around this one were quite beautiful). I especially loved the decorating in the living areas. The beach was just a few minutes walk away, the main strip was within walking distance or a very short drive, and it was an easy drive across the bridge to Biloxi and Gulfport and the beaches they had to offer. There were a couple of minor issues upon check-in, but the host was extremely, extremely responsive. I also wouldn't call this a "luxury home", as the listing title states. It's a middling house from the 50's or 60's that has doors, cabinets, fixtures, etc that could use some updating. Very nice and comfortable, but not luxury. There's also a new, very powerful air conditioner that kept the house cool in the August heat, but it's location and noise make it difficult to hear others without yelling across the house and made it almost impossible to hear the TV without putting it at max volume. Overall, it turned out to be a very nice house for our needs, at a price that seems fair for the area.
