Great stay!

We had a great time during our stay in Myrtle Beach. Our condo was nice and perfect for our family. The beach was quiet and easy to get to. We definitely enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful condo!

We have stayed in at least a half a dozen South Wind condos, and this one ranks right at the top of the list as our favorite. Absolutely beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The furniture is perfect for a beach getaway.

Spacious condo on the beach

This condo worked great for our family with teenagers. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text alerting me that I could check in two hours early. The condo was clean and we enjoyed the pools and easy access to the beach. Rooms were spacious and furniture was comfortable. We only wish there were more restaurants we could walk to.

Very nice

We had never been to Myrtle Beach so we were a little skeptical about booking. The pictures were very nice of this particular condo. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the grounds and parking. The condo was very clean and very nice, above our expectations. Short drive to the boardwalk area. We will stay here again if we ever venture back to Myrtle Beach.

The only complaint I have is that some deep cleaning to the big rug and walls, even painting, as it looks as if it has been a bit neglected.

The property was upgraded but the water pressure in the showers were not suitable for a thorough shower and the smell of sewage was in King Size Suite and the condo smell was terrible...smelled old...

Carol we are so sorry to hear that this condo has any water pressure issues. We were unaware that there was any issues going on with the building water system or a smell of sewage. We have had guests in after your stay and had zero issues or complaints. I've looked at our call log and maintenance call out list and do not see where you contacted us so we could investigate and resolve any issues you might have had. Please know we have staff that works everyday and would have been happy to figure out what what was causing this to happen.

I booked online, then after I paid was told to call... couldn’t get through for nothing. Had to call back 3 more times. When I finally got through was told to send a copy of my drivers license and a copy of my credit card. Then after all that was sent a confirmation, why not just say on your website “call to book” made no sense to me. Other than that mess the condo and the location on the beach was amazing! Condo was clean and very cozy, everyone had their own room and bathroom was very spacious and decorated beautifully.

Wonderful trip at beautiful place!

Everything about this reservation was easy, from constant communication with company to no contact entry. We arrived 30 minutes early without issue and were able to go straight to the condo with a code we had received. The place was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. There was a miscommunication about whether hair dryers would be there, but the host took care of it right away. They kept in touch in case we needed anything. The condo complex is stunning-the nicest one on the strip. It was close to the airport and restaurants and it is right on the beach! Living room had comfortable seating and everyone had their own spaces to unwind in private. It has two outdoor pools (one roof covered) one not, two hot tubs and a lazy river with tubes. You can rent umbrella and chairs on the beach by the lifeguard stand which is a huge convenience and less expensive than we paid in Florida.) If we ever stay at Myrtle again, I would book here again. Great experience, hated to leave!

Beautiful condo, but serious mildew problems

This condo was beautiful and spacious, but from the moment we arrived, we smelled mildew and mold. We left the doors open to hopefully air the condo out, but to no avail. when we turned the ceiling fans on, it only seemed to stir up more mildew. We suffered sneezing, runny noses and headaches for all of the five days of our visit. It is really a shame, because the unit is well furnished and beautifully decorated. The square footage is much larger than most of the units in the area. We would definitely stay there again if it were not for the mildew, but it is a deal breaker. We will not be back. Sorry.

Hi Jim, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm not sure what was going on with your condo but we haven't had any other guests mention anything about a mildew smell. I know the week you were here we had a lot of rain so mahybe the outside balcony dampness was the cause. We do have 29 condos at the South Wind we hope you will come back and stay again.

Excellent Vacation Condo

The condo couldn’t be more ideal for our family. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and we’ll equipped to meet our needs. The kitchen has all the plates, flatware, pots and pans, etc. the bedrooms have comfortable king and queen size beds. There was even a high chair and portable crib in the unit! Of course, the washer and dryer are a plus!It was a privilege to rent #402 this year. It goes without saying South Wind on the Ocean has a beautiful outdoor pool campus along with a short walk to the beautiful beach. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and we spent every day watching the waves and the dolphins. We’ll look forward to next time, and we highly recommend this vacation condo and South Wind on the Ocean for an excellent experience.
