Beautiful location and view

A great stay in a lovely home with an excellent view of the ocean across volcanic rocks bookended by giant palm trees. A great place to relax and recharge.

Perfect Tropical Hideaway

Beautiful location. House had everything we needed. Just so easy to relax there. Great communication from the host Emily. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful spot

So private and peaceful. Plenty of room, comfortable and clean. Hearing and seeing the ocean on the doorstep was a treat.

The instructions for access to the property were not very clear. It took us about half an hour to get into the house because the lock on the front gate was difficult to open. I tried to phone the host numerous times. I left messages but didn’t get a reply for about 3 hours. The refrigerator needed cleaning and the house was not very clean either. In the advertising it stated 2 bathrooms. One would assume that meant 2 toilets as well but there is only one which is not stated in the advertising. Also advertised a spa whirlpool which was non existent and the blender was old and did not work. One would assume when it says ice maker that there should be one in the house, not just ice trays. The house has a lot of corrosion from the salt water and needs a lot of work done to bring it up to scratch. For the price of the stay I would assume this property to be 4 star but it is only a 2 star property. In saying that the view and property position is great.Overall we thought it was way over priced for the state of the house.

Judy I'm sorry that you felt this way abou the property. I'm really sad to read this review to be honest, as we've never had anybody have trouble getting in the gate, and after we spoke on the phone, it was ascertained that you were turning the handle the wrong way. We do clearly step out the access in our check in details. I'm not sure what you mean by the blender being old? We were just at the property ourselves and it is in full working order? I'm also not sure what you mean by the property having a spa whirlpool? we certainly do not have this nor advertise one. Could you potentially be mixing up our listing with another one? We do also very clearly show all of the bathroom areas in the house through the pictures. I apologise if your expectations were to have another toilet. However, we have not ever intentially mislead our guests. I will take on your feedback. Can you please also explain what you meant by the fridge needing cleaning? We do explain in our welcome message that we do keep condiments in the fridge as it is our holiday home too. We do explain that you are welcome to use these items. Are the condiments what you were referring to as 'unclean'. I do apologise if you were not happy with your stay, will take the feedback onboard, however, it still breaks our hearts to read feedback such as this when we really do go above and beyond to provide everything that would make for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful Tropical Paradise

Very elegant house with amazing view right on the seashore. Well appointed wifi digital tv. Lots of thoughtful touches. Short walk or drive to Bagara with restaurants and shops. Two patrolled beaches close by.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Incredibly awesome holiday home.

This property was absolutely awesome; upon entering we were taken into our very own piece of paradise. The position of this home is beyond exceptional. Being able to lounge in the backyard and watch the sunrise each morning above the ocean which is right there in front was a very special treat. The property was very comfortable, very well decked out with everything one may need and much more; we wanted for nothing. We had our dog with us and the property was very pet friendly. This property was everything we had hoped for and so much more - It was a beautiful, relaxing holiday.

Another brilliant stay at the most awesome of awesome places.

Forever view, our happy place, full contentment. My husband and I along with our pet dog have just experienced yet again another most brilliant stay at this venue. Why? - well the host is an awesome person, very caring about us having an amazing stay. The home is in the most spectacular position - very well equipped, full privacy, ocean view WOW Everything about this stay was spot on.

Amazing slice of paradise

Great location right on the water. Opens up well for good ventilation. Could spend hours reading a good book and looking at the amazing view. Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed including air conditioning. Comfortable and very liveable. We had a great holiday here.

Wow Baragara Beachhouse

The views, the cleanliness, the communication … everything was just perfect for us to “drop out of civilisation” and relax, especially with our furry one. There is a dog friendly Sandy beach 3min drive away. It’s a longer drive away from main beaches, shops and eateries but there is a small convenience store 5min walk away.

Perfection.

A photo doesn’t capture the true beauty of the view. Such a wonderful place to stay if you want to chill. Having said that the property is a stones throw away form the corner shop & the beach.... and a short drive to Bargara town centre and Bundaberg. I’m not usually a return customer when it comes to holiday homes but I would definitely consider coming back! Thanks Emily for being the perfect host. Nic...
