Overall, the house was great for the amount of people we had. One issue is that the house advertises ten bedrooms. There are only 9 bedrooms (8 in the main house and a garage apartment). Bedroom 8 with 2 queen beds does not exist. Management kept telling us there were twin trundles, but there were not. We filled the entire space based on the advertisement, so you could imagine the stress and chaos when realizing we were missing a bedroom and TWO beds. The home definitely could use some repairs. Overall it was clean but there were some spots that could be cleaner. The back door doesn’t shut well. You are right on the beach. The beach was crowded on Saturday and Sunday, but it wasn’t anything overwhelming. We would definitely book again. Based upon the price and space, it was a great choice even with the inconveniences.

Family 2026 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Bellagio which was perfect for our family as it has rooms for 20 people. The house is spacious yet cozy. The seating arrangements for meals were great. Two picnic style tables with room for 8 /table, plus 5 high top chairs at the kitchen island. A drink refrigerater, an ice maker and plenty of pantry shelves were a plus as well. One of the bedrooms was located above the carriage house which also had pool table and kitchen. It was the perfect place for the bachelors in our family to congregate. The pool was clean and the short walk down the steps to the Gulf was a plus. There is a Publix right down the road, so shopping via Instacart and having groceries delivered was very handy. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

Hi Lillian, Thank you for the amazing review! We’re so happy to hear that Bellagio was the perfect home base for your family’s beach getaway. A home that comfortably fits 20 guests is no small feat — it’s basically a vacation village! We love that the layout gave everyone space to gather for meals, enjoy the pool, relax by the Gulf, and still have a little room to escape when needed. The carriage house sounds like it became the official bachelor headquarters — because every family trip needs a designated spot for pool tournaments and friendly competition! We’re glad the extra conveniences like the ice maker, drink refrigerator, pantry space, and nearby Publix made hosting a large group easier. Thank you for recommending Bellagio to your friends and family. We’d love to welcome your crew back for more sunshine, beach days, and unforgettable memories! Best regards, Benchmark Management

The Z’s family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, the management company, Benchmark, provided excellent service and responded quickly to any concerns we had. The location, perfect. Right on the beach, with a private walk directly to the sand. The room we had in this house easily accommodated the 17 of us. The kitchen, was huge! Very well equipped with pots, pans, all cooking equipment with toasters, 2 coffee pots, ample room in the pantry, 2 wine coolers, large stove top, oven, and warming oven. There were free activities that were complementary, but we did not use them. My husband has difficulty walking, and the many areas that allowed him to sit and enjoy the beach scene was priceless. Our 10 grandkids, ages 13-19, said this was the best vacation ever. We would definitely book this house with this management company again. Exceeded expectations. To be honest, the house itself could use some cosmetic work, but I do understand that being on the beach, the houses can take wear and tear due to the winds, salt, and yes, vacationers who do not treat the properties as good as they should.

Hi Sue, Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear your family of 17 had such a memorable stay—and earning the title of "best vacation ever" from 10 grandkids is an award we'll happily take! It’s wonderful that the home’s beachfront location, spacious kitchen, and comfortable gathering spaces made the trip special, especially for your husband. We're also grateful for your kind words about our team and your understanding that beachfront homes naturally weather the elements. We'll certainly share your cosmetic feedback with the owner as we continue to keep the home in great shape. We truly appreciate your recommendation and can't wait to welcome your family back for another unforgettable beach vacation! Best regards, Benchmark Management

Hi Chad, Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear your stay at The Bellagio did not meet expectations. We want to clarify that the home is described in the listing as an older property that shows some age, though we understand that condition and presentation can still fall short of what guests anticipate, and we regret that this was your experience. Regarding the maintenance concerns, our team responded to each report during your stay and worked to address them as quickly as possible. That said, we sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered, particularly with the pool heater and appliances, as we know how important those features are when planning your trip. We also appreciate you taking the time to speak with our team while in-house. Your feedback has been shared with both our maintenance team and the owner so we can continue improving the home and overall guest experience. We understand your frustration, but we do hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future. We’d be happy to personally assist in selecting a property that better aligns with your expectations. Warm regards, Benchmark Management

I don’t even know where to start with this review. I’ve had to contact the management people before we even came down to stay multiple times. When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi the entire week, cockroaches, tape on the floor to patch up the floorboards, water running with the ice machine and the air-conditioning unit wasn’t working well. Everything looked old dense in the wall. Was not kept up very well as the picture showed. I would say the best thing about this front was the location and being right on the beach. Maintenance had to come twice while we were there and not very much seating to lounge around for as many as the home could house.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We regret the issues you encountered during your stay, including the Wi-Fi interruption, maintenance concerns, and overall condition of the home. While our team did respond and sent maintenance out during your visit, we understand that this did not fully resolve the frustrations you experienced, and for that we sincerely apologize. Your comments regarding upkeep, amenities, and seating are important to us. We are actively reviewing these items with our maintenance and ownership teams to address areas that need improvement and to ensure the home better reflects the listing photos and guest expectations moving forward. View was amazing

View was amazing.. house was good except a few things need updated oven takes 45 min to heat and you have to up temp 25 degrees , stove, refrigerator is to small for that many people. The house is amazing. One thing that should state on the website is the $35 per day extra charge to heat pool. We would defiantly go back if house is maintained.

Kim, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at The Bellagio. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed this luxurious home in Destin. We are happy to report the stove is now in perfect working order. Our main website does state that pool heat can be added for an additional fee, which would be $35 daily for this home. We do hope to have you back at The Bellagio! Sincerely, Benchmark Management

Thoroughly enjoyable December 2017 Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 20 from all over the US stayed for a week over the 2017 Xmas holiday and had a fabulous time at the Bellagio. The house and beach are gorgeous and clean. A bit of work in progress in carriage house was no problem. The management was very helpful and their crew rapidly responded to our requests. One suggestion is to install a garbage disposal. We would be happy to have a chance to return to this terrific location.

May 23 Family Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the trip was good. Benchmark is proactive in communications with text. Bellagio accommodated our family well. The kids had space as well as each couple.. the negative is the close proximity to public beach access. Even though it was May, the beaches got very crowded especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Stay at Bellagio

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful! There were just a few things that could use some improvement, we did see quite a few roaches during our stay in the bathrooms and kitchens, which we understand is a constant battle in Florida. Our biggest complaint is the wifi not working at all in the carriage house and the wifi in the house being VERY slow. As a group of women who were on this trip for business and pleasure it was frustrating to not have good reliable internet. The final concern is that there appears to be a leak in the ceiling of the carriage house right at the top of the stairs.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback; we are so glad to hear you enjoyed the beauty of the home and that it served as a comfortable space for your trip. We do want to sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. You are absolutely right; while pest control is a regular and proactive part of our maintenance routine, Florida’s climate can make it an ongoing challenge. We have scheduled an additional inspection to ensure this is addressed thoroughly. We also truly understand how important reliable Wi-Fi is, especially for guests working remotely or mixing business with travel. We’re currently working with the property owner to explore options for improving connectivity, particularly in the carriage house, which should absolutely have functional access. Lastly, thank you for noting the potential leak; our maintenance team has already been made aware, and we are arranging an inspection to determine the cause and make any necessary repairs. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back with an even better experience in the future. Regards, Benchmark Management

September 2017 Stay

This house was amazing. My family came and celebrated my sons 18th birthday. We had a blast. Everything was more than expected. Everyone was very excited about this home. We called about the hot water down stairs, maintenance came and fixed problem immediately. The only thing was wrong, but didn't hender our fun, was the elevator was not operational, other than that, no complaints at all. House is directly on beach always a plus, and the private pool was also a plus. We will definitely return again and stay in this place. You guys rock. Thanks so much for allowing my family to rent this home.
