This was a great house and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for an entire month and went skiing at Boyne Highlands, a super short drive. Close enough to town to walk too also. It really was perfect. Huge kitchen and awesome comfortable master. Upgraded very nice appliances and pots pans, etc for a rental unit. There are tons of closets for storage. The one upstairs bathroom walk in was so big that I did yoga in it every day! It was comfortable and all updated, upgraded or new appliances, everything was in working order and the hosts and management company were happy to help in any way. We loved our stay at Villa West! A few things to know: 1. there is no humidifier in the house and it was VERY DRY. If you are going to be staying there in winter bring some room humidifiers with you if you are staying for a month/longer term. I would suggest that the homeowner get a humidifier if they want to always rent in winter to long timers like us. Also, the internet worked great but bring your own fire stick or whatever you use to connect up if you want to watch your own Netflix, Hulu, though they have spectrum tv. Also, there is no mailbox, so there won't be mail going there...we had forwarded our mail but had to change it to general delivery in Harbor Springs. Packages like amazon do get delivered though. All in all we LOVED our stay and thought it was a great value for the rental price also!!!! Only wish we could have stayed ALL WINTER!
