This was a great property! We enjoyed being in a beautiful, rural area that felt secluded as we enjoyed the beautiful White River from the screened porch. The home was very comfortable and gave us what we wanted as we could relax and focus on our family.

A Great Location on the White River

The cabin was well maintained and beautiful! The location on the White River is a little further down river for someone looking to fish. Trout fishing from the bank was okay. We had a lot of rain and the water was very high during our stay though which played a factor in that. I would love to come back when the water balances out and clears up to really enough that river! The cabin was very spacious for 3 adult families. I loved the screened in porch feature! Keep in mind if you are bringing your pet that you are by the river and there are ticks, make sure they are protected. Thank you for hosting us! We look forward to our return!

A Wonderful Getaway

The accommodations were excellent. Four bedrooms for four people. The new deck and wooden table added greatly to our experience. The downstairs shower was a bit touchy. The kitchen was plentifully stocked. Thank you. We shall return.

What an amazing cabin on the beautiful white river. Lots of space with everything you would need. It is quite a way from anything else, so pack accordingly.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this lovely cabin on the river! The cabin was clean, well stocked, and perfect for our group. The screened in porch and deck were wonderful! Plenty of seating for a large group, and a beautiful view of the water. There is a pretty big drop off to get down to the water if you want to fish. However, everyone in our group (ages 7-67) was able to make it down and back up. We loved it hope to stay here again! 💜

Great getaway

We had a perfect stay at the perfect Riverfront cabin. The cabin lived up to every detail of its listing and was perfect for our family getaway with the grand baby. We had everything we needed, and were extremely comfortable. We fished from the bank, and in the river, and played in the expansive yard. We went into town for a day, and explored as well. The cave was a fun adventure. So much to do so near the cabin, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. All the comforts of home were there. Thank you so much for a perfect getaway!

Wonderful relaxing vacation!

We stayed here the week of July 4th to celebrate our mother turning 80 on the 3rd! This cabin accommodated 4 adults and 2 teenagers perfectly. We enjoyed walking down and looking at the river, drinking our coffee each morning on the screened-in porch, playing games and just being together. Really nice to put down the phones and take in all the natural beauty.

Fantastic cabin in a peaceful location

The cabin is really nice, spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back porch and fire pit. The location is very beautiful and we were able to watch wildlife on the opposite shore. We had an emergency while we were there and cannot express our thanks enough to the Ruthie Mountain VFD. I hope you don’t need them during your stay, but if you do, know that they respond quickly and professionally. Our host was very gracious and helpful.

Wonderful White River Getaway

We loved our family 4 day weekend. Home is Wonderfully laid out, well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of property to roam and enjoy the view of the white river the house. Only suggestion
 If you plan on fly fishing at the property, bring you a small ladder to get down to the water level, there is a significant drop off. The road in to the property is borderline treacherous, but we managed👀. That being said, can’t wait for our next opportunity to visit this property. would highly recommend for families and groups that want to get away from everything.

Absolutely Perfect

Cabin was clean, super well stocked, and beautiful. They provide Literally everything you need except groceries. The property is well maintained, clear, and spacious. The only thing to be aware of (and I don’t consider this a negative, just a note) is the last 1/2 mile of the drive is pretty rugged. That said, part of my family made it in a tiny hybrid. This place is deserves more than 5 stars.
