Located amongst towering trees and mountain vistas, this lofted 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! Better known as ‘Double Eagle Bluff,’ this vacation rental is ideally situated in the White Mountain Estates and 5 miles from downtown Mountain View. Take in the tranquil surroundings by hiking around the property or admiring the breathtaking view from the deck. When the sun sets, light the fire pit and recount the day’s memories under the stars.

Beautiful Cabin not great host

The Cabin is beautiful and the furniture is nice. The decks have amazing views. That’s the good part. Now for the issues. First, I tried calling, texting and emailing the host at the provided contact information a couple days before our trip was to start to inquire about the property and the roads leading to it. We were pulling a trailer with a truck for a show and needed to make sure we could access it or if we needed to leave it somewhere in town. The host never responded to any of the communications. The phone number was no longer a working number. I contacted Evolve and they tried to reach him and never made contact either. I ended up driving a separate vehicle up early to check the roads which are fine by the way. The washer was broken, we had a baby and a one year old and really needed to wash things, it was full of water when we arrived and would not work at all. There were also lots of spiders in the house as well. The start button on the dryer was missing but we figured out how to start it eventually. I contacted Evolve again about the issues and they never could reach the host. We ended up leaving at 8:00 pm a day early to drive the 2 hours home because it was an extremely hot day and the AC unit wasn’t keeping up. Not sure if it was broken or just too hot outside. I never leave a bad review: I’m not hard to please but a little communication goes a long way. It is a nice cabin but needs better up keeping.

The Cormier’s weekend getaway

The cabin exceeded our expectation, especially the location. Beautiful cabin nestled in a gated community basically built on the side of the mountain with gorgeous view. The fireplace and the Bluetooth stereo with speakers throughout the cabin made listening to Christmas music and relaxing the best time spent at the cabin. The fire pit was just right with multiple seating and a wonderful view. Thank you very much for a longest to use your beautiful cabin. We will definitely be returning. God bless!

We had a great time. Everything was very nice. Only problem we had were wasp on the back deck but we tried to kill most of them, the view from the deck is beautiful. We will return in the future.

Beautiful scenery

The home was so comfortable and lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the fog roll in! We were close to town so if we forgot anything, it didn't take long to get what we needed. The wildflowers were in bloom and the fireflies! So beautiful coming across the valley!

Great getaway in the mountains

Really loved this place. The cabin and scenery are beautiful. Plenty of hiking/climbing right there. Firepit, expansive deck, lots of indoor living space. Perfect for a girls' trip. Close enough to everything so we didn't have to drive far, yet far enough away to be secluded. I wish there was a king size bed so I could come back with my husband!

All around great cabin with great view

The title for this property is spot-on: peaceful cabin with deck and mountain views. The location is great, just a few minutes from Anglers on the White River (which has gas, food, etc) and 10-15 minutes to Mountain View. The cabin itself is very well laid out, nice kitchen, very comfortable furniture and great furnishings. Beautiful view from the den onto the deck and the deck is very large and wonderful for taking it all in. The property is super peaceful and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, peaceful, easy access, well kept, close proximity to parks and river

Enjoyed our stay, very quiet, deep blue sky with night time stars shining brightly. Proximity to National and State parks was good. Didn't go there for the Internet, however had no issues with it. Cooking in the kitchen worked out well and there are a few local seafood/steak restaurants along the river, all were good. Highly recommend and would consider staining again if we visit the area.

Mountain Get Away

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in Mountain View, it was hard to leave! The cabin had everything we needed to have a lovely vacation, including a wide variety of owner music to listen to on the speakers that ran through the whole house. Also, a perk was Bluetooth speakers on the exterior to listen to your own curated music. Mr. David was so helpful with all the questions we had about the cabin. Just a short drive to Blanchard Caverns, Gunner Pool, Mirror Lake, and Mirror Lake swimming hole. Highly recommend giving this place a stay!
