'Becalmed' is a newly renovated 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom family friendly beach house just a few minutes stroll to Warrain and Culburra surf beaches and Tilbury Cove, a calmer, sheltered beach more suited for children. Enjoy this choice location in the best part of Culburra plus the comforts of a well appointed home and the benefits of a large private garden with large deck area for outdoor dining and relaxing.
Set on a quiet street, 'Becalmed' provides the perfect place to unwind. The spacious open plan indoor living areas include a comfortable main lounge, with adjoining dining and kitchen area, leading onto the outside deck overlooking a huge, secluded backyard. Sit back on the deck and enjoy a drink or a book, whilst someone else fires up the BBQ and the kids play a game of football or cricket in front of you.
The 5 bedrooms are freshly painted, with new flooring, and all are large and bright with views over the garden or trees. All rooms have ceiling or portable fans and plenty of drawers and hanging spaces for clothes. Enjoy privacy and comfort as you drift off to sleep with the sound of surf in the background.
The 5th bedroom combines as a games room complete with table and chairs, an additional TV, an Xbox360 and an assortment of indoor childrenâs games allowing spaces for both adults and children to have fun and relax separately, or together.
Three newly renovated bathrooms mean a choice of 3 showers available when returning from the beach when you all need to rinse off the salt and sand.
The fully equipped kitchen has all the home comforts including dishwasher and Espressotoria machine. Or, if you prefer Barista made coffee, then there is an excellent beach cafe just 250m from the house. Additional cafes, restaurants, shops and a large Woolworths store are conveniently located less than 5 minutes drive away.
There is plenty to do and to explore in Culburra beach whether it is swimming, snorkelling, walking, cycling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, fishing or just relaxing on the beach. Both Warrain and Culburra beaches are patrolled during the peak summer holiday season and both surf lessons and kayak hire are available 450m from home.
Also close by is the family friendly white sands of Callala beach; picturesque Honeymoon bay near Currarong (perfect for snorkelling); spectacular Point Perpendicular with its classic blue and white lighthouse; jetty fishing at Orient Point; and a chance to enjoy freshly shucked oysters at the Oyster leases of Greenwell Point.

Sleeps 10 maximum. This 2 storey property features 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, separate but adjoining indoor sitting and dining areas, a kitchen, several hallways, two separate verandahs at the front and rear of the property and a large back yard. There is parking in the front yard for up to 4 cars.

Small but well equipped kitchen with Bosch dishwasher, microwave, Espressotoria machine, electric rice cooker and electric sandwich toaster in addition to kettle, toaster, pots and pans and crockery/cutlery. A fire blanket and a fire extinguisher are located in the kitchen beside the fridge.
Laundry:
Located on the back verandah the laundry includes a Fisher & Paykel washing machine, Simpson dryer, a dedicated laundry sink, a clothes airer, a laundry basket and pegs.
Entertainment:
There are 2 TVs, one in the main living room and one in the 5th bedroom/games room. There is free Wi-Fi/Internet available at the property. There is Xbox 360 in the games room and board games, childrenâs games, including outdoor games, puzzles and magazines. Note: The dining table sits 8 adults comfortably, 10 is possible but more cosy.
Back Verandah/ garden:
In addition to the laundry the back verandah includes 6 outdoor chairs and a 4 burner gas BBQ. The back garden includes an outdoor table with market umbrella and seating for 6.
Heating/Cooling:
Ceiling or stand alone fans provide cooling and portable heaters and a wood burning stove provides heating.
