The cabin was just as advertised! Great location, comfortable beds, covered porch with a fan, grill and outdoor heater. Fenced back yard was perfect for our dog . Kitchen had lots of cooking supplies and spices and oils on hand. Shampoo conditioner, garbage bags, starter TP and Paper towel was very convenient. Check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cabin

The location was great and many amenities in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the walking trails especially around the lake . We had everything we needed in the Cabin. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck Saturday afternoon to enjoy a glass of wine. We would stay here again.

Charming and cozy is an accurate description of this cabin. It is well appointed and comfortable. The owner has paid great attention to detail, from the small amenities she provides for guests to the comfortable furniture, relaxing deck and guides for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed. The yard was lovely. The weather was great and the neighborhood felt so safe. We had no concerns while we were there. Just a lovely getaway.

What a great getaway!! This was the perfect size for our party of 3 and dog. Cozy and well equipped. There were even some Christmas decorations which made it feel more homey :) We cooked every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and beds were comfy! Upon arrival it had snowed and the pipes were frozen. Kim, the host, was promptly responsive and talked us through unfreezing. Would absolutely come back!! Thank you Kim!

Family Christmas 2022

This is a lovely little nook nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is located on the Linville Hwy. I found the location to be perfect, close to Newland for minor shopping and restaurants and close enough to Banner Elk, grandfather mountain, and Boone to do some touristing excursions. My family of 4 were comfortable and everything was just as expected. Easy access, warm and inviting living areas, quiet and peaceful. Truly a wonderful vacation! Happy New Year 2023

Fun getaway

Perfect location for our plans. Enjoyed the Linville Winery and several hiking adventures to area waterfalls. Loved the house’s back porch. It was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.

Cozy Cottage

Kim is a friend of a friend (as they say) and she has the best cottage for us and our dogs. They usually don’t travel with us, but loved having them with us. Backyard was set up perfectly for them. The area is fun and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway a favorite. Will certainly rent again! 🥰

The cabin was very nice! Very well equipped. The location was quiet and beautiful. Enjoyed walking the trails. The cabin was so clean. The furniture was very comfortable. Would definitely rent here again.
