La rivière est profonde au genou dans la plupart des régions, mais assez profonde pour nager dans la piscine profonde devant la maison.

Scott is a great host with great communication. The place was a perfect getaway for the family! The sound of mother nature, and the river was very relaxing!

Perfect location by the river! We saw an eagle every morning from screened in eating porch. We loved the fire pit area and the owner had everything needed to make s'mores. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. All three bathrooms had plenty of soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The owner even had toothpaste and toothbrushes if needed! On the one rainy day we all just enjoyed the large front porch facing the river which had plenty of seating. Owner responded with detailed instructions and even checked in via text to ensure our stay was going well. With it's close proximity to Ellijay, you were never far from stores or wonderful restaurants. Will definitely recommend this cabin to other family and friends!

Apple Picking Weekend

We visited the cabin for a quick weekend trip to pick apples. Our only disappointment was that we were not staying longer. The cabin was clean and comfortable. There were extra toiletries and plenty of household supplies provided. They even had supplies for s’mores and firewood for the roasting. The beds were comfortable.The decorations all around the home were so nice. The view was wonderful. The location was also perfect for what we’re looking to do! We hope to return soon!

Beautiful scenery

The location on the creek/river was perfect. Really appreciated how flat the land was, no trekking up and down long flights of steps. Scott was an excellent host, he made sure we were well taken care of and every need was met.

Absolutely breathtaking

This cabin is gorgeous and well appointed with the creek surrounding it. The cabin had everything you could need or want! Scott was in touch in case we needed anything and the neighbor was friendly and helpful. Peaceful, beautiful getaway!!!

Great place to relax

No problems , power went out because of a storm but that can happen anywhere, back on after a while no problem thanks for everything😀

Glad you enjoyed your stay… That was a wicked storm… Even with the remoteness of the cabin, they are usually pretty good about getting the power back on quickly… I know there were a lot of trees down.

A slice of Heaven

A must stay if you are visiting Ellijay,GA! The house has everything you need minus a hot tub. Location is everything..sits right on the river! We were 4 adults and 2 children and the house was perfect! We are definitely coming back!!

Above and Beyond!

Our family wanted to get away for Father's Day weekend. My husband and son-in-law love to trout fish and the rest of us love the mountains. The owner was very responsive and super helpful. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We have rented many cabins in the past, but this one was by far the most stocked up cabin we have ever stayed in. We used the tubes they provided to tube down Mountaintown Creek and my husband and son-in-law caught a lot of fish. The beds were very comfortable and even with 8 people, we never ran out of hot water. Everyone had a great time and we can't wait to go back!

The inside of the cabin was excellent out side was ok but just to close to neighbors.

We were looking for a little more secluded location but over all we enjoyed it. Owner was wonderful to work with and cabin very well stocked. Thanks for allowing us to stay

Mountain Trip

We had a great time in this secluded mountain cabin. We were looking to unplug, and spend some time away as a family, and this was a fantastic choice that gave us just that. Would suggest to anyone looking for a similar experience, and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect creekside getaway!

Peaceful & quiet! The creek is perfect for tubing or just splashing around. You can see & hear the soothing sounds of the creek from every room, especially master bedroom! Kitchen very well appointed for those, like myself, who love to cook. Can't say enough about this cabin~ you need to stay there to appreciate it! Already looking forward to our next visit! Peaceful tranquility

Great property. Stayed in Ellijay for Perfect Game baseball tournament at Lakepoint. Drive was convenient and got us out of the city. House was well stocked had plenty of room for our two families. We enjoyed the porches, fishing in the river, and spending time together. Scott was very responsive to our questions and handled concerns quickly. Neighbors were very friendly and courteous, home and property was outstanding. For baseball families, home is about 45 minutes from Lakepoint. Some venues much further but we did not mind any drive because the house was amazing. Visited Stone Mountain about 1.5 hours away, great laser show. Highly recommend Walkers BBQ and Fried pies in Ellijay. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

It was a very good experience & the enjoyed the stay....

The property around the cabin was awesome & as the description said - the river view is available from all the three directions of the cabin . The group we went was 10 people big . The cabin- living room - kitchen - dining - bedrooms were spacious with all the necessary amenities ( thanks Scott) The bathrooms said 3 in the description ....but in totality usable was only 1 & 1/2. The bathroom with the shower was not lockable (the group figured out a way to use it) We set up the campfire next to the stream & sat watching the summer night sky . We used the propane gas grill & cooked some good chicken & veggies on it. We took a dip & played in the stream for some time which was refreshing ...... The cabin was easy to reach, not very far from Elijay. The path to the cabin from the main road is gravelled & concrete but not for long or difficult .(Thanks Scott for the proper guidance to the cabin). The old couple next door were so friendly & came over to welcome us . We had a friendly visitor ( a copper head snake ) while we were grilling. (Made all the girls stay indoor). It was a fun weekend & we enjoyed the cabin stay .

I’m glad you had a great time. To clarify, there are three bathrooms. One has a shower, sink and toilet. The second is the master, and has a toilet, large vanity, and a huge jacuzzi tub. The third bathroom is upstairs and has a pedestal sink, antique claw foot tub, and a toilet. Vinod, I am sorry for any misunderstanding in the description. I will make sure that I post pictures of all three of the bathrooms for future guests.

Beautiful and relaxing!

We (family of 5) stayed for a week and really enjoyed this property. The cabin is clean, really cozy and decorated nicely! We enjoyed tubing on the creek, board games, and hanging out by the fire pit. The creek is very relaxing and peaceful. We hope to stay here again soon!

Relaxing sound of a rushing river plus a nicely appointed and tastefully decorated home-LOVED

This was a perfect house for some much needed R&R. Plenty of nearby attractions and things to do, but we enjoyed staying in just as much. Loved roasting s'mores in the fire pit, sipping on some local apple cider we mulled on the stove, and reading on the porch. Well appointed kitchen with any dish or utensil you may need to cook a gourmet meal. Comfortable beds. Scott, the owner was more than accommodating and anticipated all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property with amazing river running in the backyard!

The cabin is equipped with everything and more. It was more than we expected. We had a great family time around the bond fire every night. The river is the most amazing amenity of this cabin. The kids were able to fish as well as tube down the river. It was our first experience in the mountains and we would definitely go back. The cabin is more rustic but it was comfortable. Also the owner was extremely efficient, he made sure we had proper directions to the cabin and he kept in contact for our stay to make sure everything was ok.
