Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 802. The perfect beach vacation condo. You will love the two lanais which offer a wonderful view of the gulf and beach. This second floor unit is just steps from the elevator. You will enjoy the accessibility to the large heated swimming pool and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! This spacious 2 bed/2 bath non-smoking unit features all the comforts of home plus everything Sanibel Island has to offer. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless-steel appliances. The master suite has a private screened lanai and a king size bed. The guest bedroom has twin beds but can be made into a king upon request. The large and bright living/dining room leads to a screened lanai overlooking a tropical pond and lush landscaping. Amenities include ceiling fans, linens, central air, 3 satellite TVs and WiFi. On arrival your unit is supplied with a starter pack of soaps, paper products and coffee. You will enjoy your own private garage containing beach chairs and beach umbrella. Beach towels are available for rent or purchase from our on-site office. Sanibel Siesta offers tennis courts, bike rentals, shuffleboard, gas grills and laundry facilities all in a tropical setting with amazing sunsets. Reservation pricing is based on a party of 4. A $30 daily fee will apply for any 5th or 6th person, a 1-time extra linen charge of $35.00 will apply. Maximum occupancy is 6 including children and infants. NO PETS

The unit was clean and well stocked with cooking essentials.No cooking ingredients included (salt, pepper, oil etc) which was noted before arrival.Beds were ok.There was 3 adults and 2 kids and there was PLENTY of room.Unfortunately there was no hand soap, shampoo, conditioner or shower gel but when we called the front desk they sent some up quickly.Unit came with garage which the keypad was finicky- but front desk came to change batteries and no problems after. The beach chairs were extremely rusty and definitely need to be replaced. Pool noodles and inflatable tubes were great for the kids.There is an elevator in the building- but you still need to maneuver steps to the unit. (It wasn’t a problem for us). A/C worked great. Ice maker provided ice quickly once we turned it on. The big lanai was a huge plus. And second lanai was great for extra sleeping space.

We had a great stay, would recommend this property.

The only reason for not giving all 5's was due to some difficulty with communication and the late check in process. Our flight was delayed 12 hours causing need for late check-in. It took a couple of hours to get a response regarding how that unexpected change would affect us for check in. The staff at the hotel where we had to pick up our key was not friendly or helpful. But all staff at the property were friendly and welcoming

Nice Location Near the Beach

Mostly liked our stay. Condo was spacious, clean. Weather was warm and sunny. Technically property connected to beach, but was 5 minute walk to sand and water. The balcony/lanai was a nice place to hang out. And it had a ceiling fan and light. Located middle of island, so easy to get to restaurants and Jerry's grocery store. We cooked a lot and kitchen had all the amenities, including dishwasher. Cons: 1) Elevator has been broken a year and a half (since Hurricane Ian) but wasn't mentioned on website. So be prepared to walk up stairs and drag your luggage up stairs. For this condo, only 1 floor up. But this applies everywhere on island. 2) Heated swimming pool wasn't heated. Went end of April so water was on cool side but not cold. Temps were between 68-80 deg F. 3) Host fees and cleaning fees were outrageous. Sadly this was a last minute trip (4 weeks out), so all the properties that were left had outrageous fees. Just read the financial fine print before making your decision. 4) This unit does have 2 balconies/lanai, but no view of the sunset, and no view of ocean. In fact, there's no view of sunset anywhere on the property because of other buildings. 5) Only beach gear provided was chairs and umbrella. No wagon or beach towels. So brought a couple of beach towels from home.

The location was good. Right on the beach and a short distance from most restaurants

It was clean and well taken care of. It had everything we needed.
