This villa was stunning !!! I’ve never been in such a well equipped villa before. It was spotless and everything immaculate. Fantastic location close to Bean Point. Fantastic shaded pool area.

Great spot for a family!

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Shell House. Great location, walkable and bikeable to all of the spots we wanted to go to and see! Two block walk to the beach on the north tip of the island! Our only recommendation would be the addition of a BBQ grill.

Great location ~ House needs work

Great location! Five minute walk to beach through quiet neighborhood. Everything you need in kitchen. Nice floor plan with first floor laundry. First floor updated. Second floor needs updating. Had to clean some areas of kitchen. Went to open windows to enjoy fresh air to find missing or damaged screens and filthy window sills. Old carpet up the stairs and second floor. Lots of bugs in kitchen upon arrival on a Saturday ~ we called rental company and they were super responsive and had an exterminator come to house on Monday. A Paradise Rental Company was great to work with.

October 2023 stay

We had a wonderful trip to Anna Maria. The location of the home is very near Bean Point and Rod & Reel Pier. We really enjoyed the pool, and being away from the main roads and had rented a golf cart to get around. The only down side was that we had to buy or rent some kind of beach chairs. In the past I have stayed at a condo, where loungers were provided. Also, the home could use a little attention and updated decor. The living space was very comfortable and the home was very clean. But overall, it was a great place to stay.

Shell House Vacation Fun

This home was clean, had a well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels, including some very big beach and bath towels. The location on the island turned out to be in a nice quiet area only a 5 minute walk from a beach that felt private and a 10 minute walk from Bean Point beach. The pool was a nice amenity and our kids enjoyed it several times. The instructions to enter the home were very clear.

Bad beds

Both the queen and king beds were awful . They need to be replaced. We both woke up with neck pain and back pain every night we stayed there which was 14. Ugh!

Delightful

Breakfast on the front deck, fishing at Rod and Reel, beaching on Tampa Bay side, drinks by the pool ( in plastic), bike riding, walking and shelling on the gulf. The time went too quickly. We’re already booked for next year.

Wonderful home

We very much enjoyed staying here for 2 weeks. The location is great - super quick walk ti beaches, piers, shopping and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Love the island, so many fun things to do. Thank you!

Review

The location of the property was nice. Close to beach/shops and restaurants. Unfortunately our AC quit working 2 times on our trip. The freezer does not stay shut so we had to keep a chair pushed up against it the entire time. There was no "welcome book" that told us info about the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location

We love fishing at the Rod and Reel pier and this house was just one block away. The beach was only a couple blocks walk. Great communication with property management. We loved our stay!

Holiday vacation

Great property Ideal location

Had a great time staying at shell house. The place was stocked with pretty much everything. Would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect. Walk to the bean point beach or to the rod and reel pier for great fishing.
