1st floor Intercoastal water view condo close to beaches

Upon arrival to my unit this guest obstructed and disabled my exterior security camera immediately in violation of house rules. Because it was Christmas, I allowed them to stay if they returned the camera to working order. It was a mistake. The guest damaged my linens and refused to take responsibility but instead rattled off a litany of problems with my unit only after her stay was over. I never heard from her nor had any communications during her visit regarding any problems. Her claims go unverified and not believable. She left the property early without communicating that the unit was vacant for over 1 week. She is not recommended to other hosts as she is not trustworthy. Not welcome back to my home.

I am sad to hear that your trip was the "worst experience you have ever had" there. I would like to assure you that all the security cameras throughout the 3 acre property are for entries, exits and security. There are no cameras inside the unit or pointed inside the unit. The cameras are in lu of a security gate that the association monitors. As a result of the security cameras throughout the property we have no crime and its a very secure property. I have posted full disclosure of the cameras on the platform property page so you were fully informed of their presents upon booking the unit. Upon your complaint about the bed, I offered my cleaning crew to remove the memory foam topper but you declined the offer stating that you did not want anyone inside the unit while you were at the beach. When you declined the offer I merely mentioned that the pull out couch is very comfortable as an alternative if you wish. We have removed the memory foam topper at your suggestion for the next guest. I am retired and stay there often when availible monthly, we just left the day you arrived, visiting that unit and staying 4 days. The condos are well maintained for being historic built in 1950! We very much enjoy our home and do not ever feel anything but pride, gratitude and safe secure complex. Regarding the combo washer, It is a stream dryer, it is stated in the house rules and instructions that it is small and ment for just a few things and is not a conventional dryer. As an alternative amenity many full size commercial, pay for washers and dryers, are availible on the back side of the pool house for those who find the washer/dryer combo inside the unit to not be acceptable. There is not a mold issue in the unit. Naturally having a steam dryer produces humidity which the dehumidifier reduces. I assume you have written a review that reflects your dissatisfying experience. I am sad that you did not allow me to assist in answering your concerns while your were there. This is the first time after you have left that I am hearing many of your complaints. I am powerless to assist if you dont let me know or allow me to send in help. In return, I have nothing bad to say other than your lack of communication regarding your assumptions regarding the cameras and the other things you complained about. That makes it hard for me to want to invite you back or recommend you to other hosts. Safe travels and best to you finding your ideal vacation spot.
