Great experience! The host was very accommodating for my friend and I. The place was extremely clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient—close to bus stops and with easy access to the subway. The only small downside was that you could hear the upstairs neighbors quite a bit. Other than that, it was a great stay. 10/10!

Regular DC visitor to see family and this is one of the best units in which we’ve stayed. Spacious and bright, comfortable furniture and beds, functional kitchen and huge bathroom. Will definitely try to stay here again!

Good location, clean room, and well stocked kitchen

Overall very comfortable stay, and accurate description of the property. Good local coffee and tea. There were no tissues provided, but that's not a big deal.

Manager was quick to reply to questions. Although it was a lower suite it was bright We were out and about most of our visit but it was a wonderful place to rest and recharge; a great space

DC Spring Break

Nice location with great restaurant options close. Was perfect for family of 4. Noise was not as loud as we expected based upon listing. Was actually very quiet!

Inviting and quiet location in the heart of D.C.

Loved this property. In a great area of Washington D.C.. Very well equipped and extremely clean with comfortable beds. I thought for being in a city center that it was extremely quiet. Friends who live close by were surprised by how quiet it was compared to their own home. We had a lovely dinner there with our friends; it's that inviting.

The place was very clean in a nice location. TV could use a little instructions. Furnishings are a little on the cheap side. It is an English basement apartment with very tight access to the door. The host only provides one key for the door. If you have guests with different schedules you need to place the key back into the lock box outside, which is old and difficult to open. Check out is a 10 am promptly. If you need extra time, you will be charged 65 and given till 12:30 pm.Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

It was great stay. We have a few suggestions we’d appreciate your sharing with the owner:1. Need to recaulk shower corners to avoid water damage or mold2. A mirror over the dresser in the larger bedroom would be nice.3. Some small table or shelf in the bathroom to allow you to put your cosmetics on would be helpful4. The towel rack nearest the shower falls down when you try to hang a towel on We very much enjoyed our stay and found your accommodations. Quite lovely.

Perfect weekend stay

Everything we needed for the 3 day weekend we spent in DC. Perfect size for 4 people to stay, hang out, and sleep. Easy to find and central to a lot of really fun restaurants. One thing- I will point out to any venue that does this because it’s something you don’t always have, and that’s easy to reach outlets in the bedrooms! It might seem minor but having an outlet right near the bed to be able to plug in our travel charger docks and extra phone batteries for when we’re out exploring is great and always appreciated! This venue was great and we would absolutely consider staying again!

The host did a good job. The location was good, the property had good amenities. The main issue was the noise from the upstairs flat. We knew from the listing there would be some noise but didn't expect it to be so loud. Seemingly no insulation between the floorboards above. We were woken early by the noise every morning.We had some electrical faults in our apartment that took multiple visits fo fix whilst we stayed.

First I want to highlight the professional attitude & easy communication with the property management company all the way through. The property was clean, spacious, kitchen was well equipped and the entire flat was nice and cool with AC in all rooms.As noticed by a previous traveler, the furniture is on the cheap side. Looks good but look is defeating. The sofa was wiggling and already had a broken leg that was loosely replaced, the primary bed had 2 broken legs that made the whole bottom of the bed sink. The secondary bed was equipped with a mattress topper that was 10in shorter than the mattress itself. 2 single 80cm wide beds would fit and accommodate guests better.Finally, there was no water pressure in the bathroom which made the showering time a bit hectic. The property manager offered to come check and fix but when staying 3 nights I didn't want to wait for someone to come over and there was no way I'd let anyone in while away for the day.The location is convenient, you're a 15 ride away from the mall and Georgetown. You can walk to Union Market and coffee around the corner is good, while being able to park easily in the street by the property. But coming from a very clean and safe country, I was disappointed by the neighborhood itself and didn't feel comfortable at all time. Walkways are ran down, smell of weed in the air from 8am and funky people under influence roaming around. Can't judge as most of DC streets were the same, yet didn't feel 100% comfortable

Short term

I stayed at this wonderful home for 3 weeks, for a work trip. The apt was exactly as the photos. Clean, the neighborhood was cute and quiet, and a lovely place to stay. Convenient 10-15 min walk to the Red line. The little feet upstairs are loud, but it didn’t disturb me at all. Don’t sleep on this place. Farmer’s Market on Sunday, bars and restaurants literally around the corner. I stayed by myself and had no problems. The management group is very responsive and friendly. Thank you!

Great property

My mother and I enjoyed our stay. Great communication with owners, and everything was as advertised. In the interest of fairness, I will say that if you like sleeping in, this might not be the property for you. I'm sure the family upstairs is great, just know you're going to hear every step they take. They also have a little one who loves to run. Not there fault, nor the owners.

Immaculate

I have stayed at many but none have surpassed the cleanliness of this place! It was Immaculate! The furniture had steam cleaning marks on it! The size was perfect for two couples and just the right distance from DC. A Walk to the people’s pub was a perfect break. There is plenty of seating but best suggestion is a second loveseat. Would definitely stay again. Host was responsive and the checkin was seamless. Thanks!

Parking Hassle

The apartment, neighborhood and management were perfect.A solid ten! After we were on the road, we got the check-in info w a link to DC Parking Permits that had to be printed and put on the dashboard. i-95 rest stops do not have printers. Check in is at 4....you will need a parking permit until 8:30. We tried online, but only got a two hour electronic permit. Sat and Sun do not require permits, but Monday AM to Friday at 8:30, the parking hawks are out writing tickets. Hint - When you enter your license plate number into the system, do not put a space or dash.
