Cute cabin nestled in the woods. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend away from the busy lives we live. The hot tub was a real treat to relax and unwind, the fire pit came in handy for a late night bonfire. We saw a lot of deer and a few bear cubs down the road. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again in the fall. If you need a getaway from busy life. This is the place to go.

For the most part it is a typical cabin with nice amenities. However, it is pretty close to a 45 mph road that was busy over a weekend.Floors could have been cleaned a little better. Also, the linens and comforter were not cleaned/changed in the room with the king size bed, it was abundantly apparent (we always carry extra linens for this very reason). We did not discover it until after 9 pm. We contacted the host first thing in the morning. Housekeeping was there within the hour with fresh linens and a comforter, this is a good thing. The bedroom with the queen size bed was missing a blind. The back door could have used a blind. Actually all the blinds are very old and need updated. We did not use the hot tub because it had too strong an odor of chlorine and the floater looked very old. One other item that was interesting, we noticed the door knob for the room with the king size bed was backwards so the lock was on the outside of the door, not on the inside. It was a odd that maintenance did not correct this, or realize.

Everything was great, and just as the host said it would be. The place was clean, and had all we needed. The hot tub was ready for our aching muscles after a long bike ride, and the bed was very comfortable.

This was my first outing with my boyfriend since we had our last child and it was everything we wanted just to reconnect with eachother. It’s secluded and gives you enough privacy to enjoy your time, the cabin brings you a sense of peace and calmness and the hot tub just adds the cherry on top to the perfect getaway! I enjoyed staying here very much and would definitely book again for longer especially to try out the many brochures the owner left for us to see.
