We had a lovely stay! Very close to everything downtown. Neighbor was rude and made everyone feel uncomfortable for the first few days but other than that our stay was perfect.

this property served us well. Very close to all the wineries around Seneca lake. The host were so very nice and left us a welcome note and a bottle of wine which was delicious. We will definitely stay again

New Years Get Away

We wanted a get away for New Years this year and this was the perfect spot! Very clean and roomy & there were a lot of other kitchen / coffee supplies than anticipated which was great and the host left a beautiful bottle of wine-very nice touch!

Great house close to a lot

We had a lovely time in Penn yan for a friends wedding. 7 of us stayed and there was plenty of room! The neighbor was not very friendly and made us uncomfortable for the first few days, but other than that our stay was perfect.

Nice Place, Tilts in the Back

Great place in the city area of Penn Yan. It does lean a lot in the back of the building, so be aware of that in the back bedroom. Very clean and more space than my son and I needed. But, enjoyed all the room.

The house is in a nice area. Living area is comfortable and nicely decorated. The house could use more pots and pans. The upstairs did get hot in the evening but was cool in the morning.

Great to be back!

We stayed at this house 3 years ago and enjoyed it just as much this time! It’s close to Main St in Penn Yan which has shops, restaurants, and local coffee spots. It’s easy to get to the water and hiking trails. The house is clean and spacious! You must be able to handle stairs. The yard is fenced and great for my dog! And the owner is easy to contact and communicate with! Definitely recommend!

Great place, not so great neighbor

Overall this house is in a great neighborhood, the house is super nice, the fenced in yard was great for my dog. Again, loved the house and location. Very clean and easy to find/get into. The only negative thing about this place is as soon as we got there and stepped out of our car the neighbor began to heckle and insult us for being there; as well as constantly watching us. Again the rental itself is amazing, there is ample space, it is clean, and in a nice area.

Very clean, quiet neighborhood. Fenced yard which is nice for smaller dogs, but a little low (3 foot in sections) for our larger pup. House was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs was warm at night despite the AC so maybe pack a fan. Walkable to town for dinner, breakfast and shopping. Convenient location to wineries, breweries and distilleries. It was nice to be able to travel with our (well behaved) dog! Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. As mentioned in other reviews, neighbors were quite rude but who cares. Rooms were pretty clean and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and TV room was comfortable. Backyard was nice for the dog to roam. Cons: great deal of mold on ceiling of second shower. Looked like it was going to break through so 6 adults and a child had to share 1 shower. Wooden steps leading to backyard were broken, which was quite dangerous. Floor was super creaky which was difficult with a sleeping baby. And the outdoor fence seemed to either open on its own or the neighbors kept opening it. So we had to keep checking and closing it to ensure our dog’s safety.
