This home is in a great location, the communication was great, pool and hot tub are amazing and the house was wonderful outside of the couch being filthy and smelling like animal pee. We couldn’t sit on the couch without wanting to puke. It seriously smelled like a homeless person soaked in piss. It was truly shocking. I hope they replace it and I hope I’m contacted for a partial refund or credit. It’s weird that such a nice property wouldn’t notice or address such an obvious and gross piece of furniture.

Great place for family. While I wasn’t thrilled about the shared space/back yard, children loved it and it gave parents a break on entertaining while the young ones found friends and played. All bedrooms had dressers/drawers and primary had walk in closet- so nice to have space for clothing. Access to the garage gave us a place to put our beach chairs instead of dragging them in the house. Appreciate the pool/lake toys we were permitted to use too.

South haven family vacation

The place was perfect for a family vacation. The apartment is comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very well maintained. Close to everything to have a great time.

Great week away

This was a wonderful place to be - easy access to everything South Haven has to offer. The house is extremely well equipped, which makes a getaway easy and comfortable. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Accommodations

This was our first time staying in this part of South Haven and we really enjoyed the walk to the beach! The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Great place to spend NYE!

Fun Family Vacation

Checkin was easy. The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. The only problem was the dishes in the cabinets did not seem clean, and we washed them before using.

Great house!

The property fit our family of 4 perfectly and we could have had more kiddos to fill the bunk beds. The beds were crazy comfortable and the house was new and clean. The location was great and a quick walk to the pool.

We didn’t want to leave!

What a wonderful home! We had everything we needed while around here. We loved to ride the bikes to the beach at sunset, the pool was nice, and close to town. Everything we needed and more!

We had a lovely time overall. Pretty clean and well organized. We stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. In total there were 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids aged 8 to 2). The layout worked great. We would have given it a 5 star if the pillows were more comfortable, the living room seating was more comfortable (couch and chairs were stiff) and my question about parking was answered.

Overall we are thrilled with our stay. The only drawback was that the internet did not work even with troubleshooting.However the amenities, friendliness of owners, and are out shine the internet concern.

The property was well kept and had all sorts of great kitchen gadgets! We enjoyed the short walk to the pool. North Beach was only a 5 minute drive with ample parking.The only thing we did not love was that in the community all the back patios open up to one another so there was little privacy for outdoor activities or conversations. Not a deal breaker but something to consider!

Perfect place for a South Haven trip!

Well maintained and well furnished house with thoughtful amenities. Traveling for the first time with our two month old child, we were pleasantly surprised at all the amenities for little kids provided, including a pack and play and high chair. Our older boy was excited about the bunk beds in the children's room. The covered and heated pool was perfect for an early morning swim. It is a quiet neighborhood, and the house is well stocked entertainment-wise to keep the entire family happy and occupied. Will definitely be back!

Getaway

We booked this property to be near other family who were in south haven for the week. Additionally, it meant we could bring our senior dog with and wouldn’t have to leave him home. The property was clean and comfortable! The beds were so wonderful! Cute little neighborhood to walk our dog in too. Didn’t have time to check out the pools but we walked by both and they were clean and inviting as well. We loved the Harvest House and will definitely consider booking again when back in South Haven!

Beautiful location for a family get together

We stayed at this home for just a weekend but really enjoyed it. Our group had 2 adults in our late 50's, and 4 in their mid-twenties. We have been to South Haven many times in the past and are more used to older places. This was brand new, very well equipped, very clean. We cooked on Saturday night and the kitchen/dining/great room area was perfect for all (6) of us around the island or the table. We walked over to the public beach via a beach access which was < 10 min to see the sunset. The 4 in their twenties used the community pool....a 2 min walk. They loved it. All in a really nice stay.

Modern Home with tons of extras

This home worked wonderfully for our family's last minute beach getaway. The home is modern, new, very clean and was FULL of extras which we all appreciated so much. The kitchen was FULL with everything you may need to prepare a meal and the mid-line grill was brand new. There was a lot of thought put into the complimentary items provided, like dog bowls, leash, and bed as well as a fully stocked first aid kit, zip lock bags of all sizes, k cups, tons of board games and lawn games and a whole garage full of beach toys and equipment which was super handy. I was disappointed that the home was surrounded by other homes still in construction and there were some early morning noise. Also, there were very little grass in the backyard which made playing soccer or corn hole very challenging. I highly suggest sod be placed and the 4ft weeds to be cut down as one guest found a tick on his back. The backyard is not private by any means but has great potential! I suggest an umbrella for the patio table for a more comfortable meal outside, higher quality towels (very cheap towels!) and room darkening shades as the sun is very bright in the rooms by 6:30am. The mattresses were all very comfortable, including the twin bunk beds as we had two adults sleep on those happily. Super easy access to the home and the pool was wonderful. I was disappointed to pay $300 for two dogs for 4 nights (and one was only there 2 nights) but that was communicated up front and we just bite the bullet. Seemed like a very high charge though. The location is great, 3 mins to a small and beautiful beach, 2 more mins south for the next beach option and 7ish mins to the downtown area. Meijers is around the corner too for last minute needs. We had a great time and overall would definitely recommend this home!!

This home is located in the Harbor Club community that does still have some construction going on in certain areas, however, the "quad" that this home is located in is completely finished with no construction. These homes are built in "quads" (similar to a square city block) with community space in the center that everyone can share via their backyard. We believe this is the space you are referring to that needs to be weeded as homes in this community do not have grass within each unit and are garden areas/hardscaped. We do utilize the same towels at our 40+ homes in South Haven and usually hear positive remarks on the towels, so we will check with housekeeping to see if for some reason the wrong towels were placed out, though that should not happen. We will share your review and recommendations with the homeowner! Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience!
