Cottage quatre chambres sur le lac Muskoka

Bienvenue à Green Gables. Un magnifique gîte orienté vers l'ouest, au bord du lac Muskoka. Si vous recherchez des restaurants ou des magasins, ce gîte répondra à tous vos besoins, car il est situé à seulement dix minutes de Port Carling et à quinze minutes de Bracebridge.

cet hébergement est nichée dans un coin très pittoresque et calme du lac Muskoka. De nombreuses destinations idéales pour la navigation de plaisance se trouvent à proximité immédiate du cottage. Juste en bas de la route, vous trouverez plusieurs courts de tennis publics et des parcours de golf. De plus, le cottage est situé à moins de cinq minutes à pied du célèbre sentier d’observation Huckleberry, qui surplombe la partie nord du lac Muskoka.

À l’intérieur, vous découvrirez un magnifique agencement de type « open space » aux couleurs vives et aux surfaces épurées. Que vous soyez dans la cuisine, dans le salon ou assis à la table à manger, votre regard sera toujours attiré par les nombreuses fenêtres situées à l’arrière du chalet, qui donnent sur le lac. Si vous avez besoin d’un moment de détente, ne cherchez pas plus loin que le petit salon à l’arrière, équipé de deux bureaux en bois brut pour tout travail que vous pourriez avoir à effectuer.

Aimez-vous déguster un chocolat chaud au coin d’un feu de cheminée ? Si oui, vous êtes au bon endroit. À l’extérieur, près de l’eau, vous trouverez un magnifique foyer extérieur. De plus, sur la terrasse à l’arrière du gîte, vous disposerez d’une table-cheminée d’extérieur au propane. À l’intérieur, vous trouverez également une cheminée à bois pour vous réchauffer, quelles que soient les conditions météorologiques que vous pourriez rencontrer à Muskoka.

Conduisez-vous un véhicule électrique et craignez-vous de manquer d’autonomie en vous rendant à Muskoka ? N’ayez crainte : un chargeur de niveau 2 vient d’être installé au cours de l’année dernière et nous accueillons toutes les marques et tous les modèles de véhicules.

Very clean. Well appointed cottage. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bathrooms were equipped with all the essentials (soap, shampoo) which wasn’t expected but was great to have. Communication with Brendan was fantastic. Answered all our questions in a timely fashion.

Beautiful location at the end of a bay, newly renovated and very close to services but still feels like a get away. Very responsive host and everything went very smoothly from check-in to departure.

LOVED the house, LOVED the location. Brendan the host was responsive and helpful.The house is very comfortable and suited us 6 adults quite well. We had some great times around the outdoor fire pit and on the amazing dock. The cottage is right in between the two great towns of Bracebridge & Port Carling. They both have lots to offer in the way of restaurants, bars, shopping, hiking, boating, museums, golfing - you name it. I can't say enough about the area.I do have to speak about the cleanliness of the cottage though. Now keep in mind, I am a clean freak. At first glance the cottage is gorgeous. But as we unpacked and the closer I looked at things, I was not impressed. Perhaps, as it's the end of the season and the cleaning crew may not have had time to thoroughly do their job between guests or they just don't care. I don't know. But from the grease on the appliances, the interior of the fridge, the dirty interior fireplace; I spent part of my holidays cleaning a place we paid top for. Brendan - please look at hiring a new cleaning crew. The one you have now aren't worth whatever you're paying them!

Perfect weekend away from home

Luxury and spectacular cottage with lake front access! Great host, very easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. The place was very clean and well maintained - very spacious. Kayaks are also available for use! Had an amazing time and can’t wait to be back!

We booked a family Thanksgiving getaway and couldn't be happier with our choice for accommodation. Beautiful property and well maintained property, in a great area, right on the lake, and lots to do. Great host excellent communication -- no issues at all and clear instructions. Already considering coming back here the next time we're in the area. Definite 10 out of 10.

Great location on Lake Muskoka, short trip to either Port Carling or Bracebridge for groceries or shopping. Cottage is well maintained and appointed. Property manager is responsive and reasonable. We felt very comfortable at the cottage. Beautiful lake views from the cottage and dock. Hiked up Huckleberry Lookout which is a 5 minute walk away. Used the kayaks on the property. Fireplace in the cottage works very well. We did a Rosseau lake trip on the Peerless II.

A well spent Easter break!

We were extremely happy and content to spend our easter break at this property. It is clean, well maintained and equipped with modern amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything one could ask for! My 6 yrs old son was excited to play around the house. Property owner was friendly and propmt in replying my questions. It also offers a lake view and easy access to lake. Highly recommend to all folks!

Fantastic family getaway

Our family stayed in June and had a fantastic time. The cottage is right on the lake and includes many peaceful spots for sitting on the dock. The interior is beautifully appointed, with modern furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. There is no central A/C but there are plenty of fans, so we did not have any issue with temperature. We also enjoyed the large comfortable couch on the main floor which offers excellent lake views! The host was easy to communicate with and prompt with replies. The property is about 15 minutes away from Bracebridge, which makes for easy grocery/supply trips. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

Great Property and Location

This is a great property and location. Good value for money. We had 4 couples in the cottage. The couple who got the bedroom off the kitchen complained about how cold it was both nights. Also the place wasn't as clean as it should be especially when you pay a significant amount for cleaning. Overall everyone had a great time and Brandon is very responsive. He even gave us a partial rebate on the cleaning fee.

Great weekend

We stayed at this property for just a couple of nights. There were five adults and one small dog. The cottage was exactly as advertised. The property was great. They were more amenities in the cottage then we could ever have used. You're in the area for a wedding about 20 minutes away so unfortunately did not have time to take full advantage of everything this property has to offer. It was in very close proximity to the Huckleberry Rock hiking trail which was great. The communication with the owner was fantastic and the whole transaction could not have been any smoother. Would not hesitate to return in the future.

Great retreat for groups of friends and families

We stayed at this cottage in mid-June, and found the lake to be very peaceful. Proximity to Bracebridge was appreciated for grocery runs, and for a trip to the Farmer's Market on Saturday. Brendan was a great host and sent a detailed check-in and check-out procedure that had no onerous requirements, and made check-in very easy. This property and cottage are a gem. There is a terrific dock and beautiful, shallow beach areas that are ideal for groups with young children. The cottage itself was spotless and very well-appointed. Beds, linens, dishes, and furniture were spotless. Water pressure in the showers was good, and there was plenty of hot water for showers; appliances were modern and functioned well. Our group had a three-year old toddler and an infant under one, and found the property made it easy to keep an eye on them. While there is no air conditioning, the side of the cottage facing the lake has plenty of windows and screen doors, and it was easy to use a cross-breeze to cool the cottage at night.

Family Holiday

A beautiful west facing cottage on Lake Muskoka. The host is fabulous and responsive. Lots of space for young adults and wonderful location for touring, water sports and visiting. Well done!
