If it’s a relaxing coastal vibe you are chasing for your next getaway look no further.
Set high up on the hill this 1950’s cottage holds front row views of the Lancelin Bay and all its wonders.
This open plan multi functional room includes the kitchen / lounge and bedroom facilities. The bedroom is separated from the rest of the room by its own privacy screen.
The bathroom, laundry and toilet are all outside.
No matter where you are standing inside or out the front of this home you will enjoy stunning ocean views.
Perfect for those who are chasing those beach side activities, as all of these and more are only footsteps away. The local shops and eateries are also only a short stroll away. If a morning coffee or treat is on your mind the Offshore Café is only just around the corner.
Come home from your day’s adventures, sit on top of the world, enjoy your favorite beverage and watch the glorious Sunset on display over the Ocean.
This home is perfect for the couple getaway. If you do have the children in tow, there are two foldout beds available. These are situated along the wall next to master bed.
DUE TO HIGH ELEVATIONS THIS PROPERTY IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN.
The oven is currently not working, but there is a Air fryer available to use

Stay 7 nights and only pay for 6

This property strictly sleeps 4. This property will only suit 2 adults and 2 children so please keep this in mind when booking. No Tents, Caravans or Camper Trailers allowed at property. Sorry No Pets.
Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangement has been made. No school leavers or under 25 adult groups.
Guests are to supply their own sheets and towels - Linen hire available on request.
Porta cot and high chair available on request.
Lancelin is attractively nestled between a large, safe bay with 2 large islands and extensive sand dunes, the town is a worldwide recognized venue for Windsurfing and Rock Lobster fishing.
The bay of Lancelin is by far it's best feature. The calm waters of this bay are beautiful and water activities dominate the town's leisure activities.
A very popular town for people who live in Perth as a short coastal break.

Beach shack vibes in great location

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for three nights after Christmas. It's a great spot and sitting out the front in the late afternoon under the shade of the tree was perfection. Lots of curiosities and objects in the house and very cool eclectic decor. I wouldn't bring young children here, partly because of the drop and steep driveway but also all the objects inside would make it hard for you to relax but my older kids 10 and 13 loved it. Would definitely come back and stay again.

This awesome c1950’s beach house oozes charm and features incredible period decor. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Wardun/ Indian Ocean as you delight in this unique location. Humbled to visit the traditional land of the Yued Noongar custodians and pay our respects in acknowledgment of Elders, past, present and future. Visit landmark locations, close to town and worth a visit the op shop that supports the community. Overall a very bespoke visit, great for photo enthusiasts, bird watching or just being still, listening and breathing.

Beachfront Bliss

This was my second time staying here as i loved it so much last time, which was in spring. I love how this place is decorated and love the view. The rather hot and unusually still weather did draw attention to the lack of flyscreens and therefore lack of airflow / breeze at night as only a stand fan was provided. Would have loved to just open a few windows without worrying about mosquitos. Great place, i will visit again.

Neglected and poorly maintained

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location - but very neglected by owners - which was a shame and annoying too. Broken door lock so couldn't open, broken junk in front of house, all outdoor furniture and window and window ledges were filthy; no toilet paper - just a half used packet of picnic serviettes in the toilet, etc; fridge not cleaned - so had mouldy food left in fridge; outdoor chairs and tables caked with weeks of dirt- so we had to do a lot to clean the place to use it. Only one cheap, broken pedestal fan in the house to cool 4 beds (we had 40 degree temp days)- and that fan had was missing the screw in the base - so couldn't stand up, etc.. Such a shame as a really nicely styled inside and fabulous spot and Lancelin is a great town.

Didn't like the mouse droppings on the couch and beds or having it munching away on stuff all night in the pantry cupboard, there were a few cockroaches as well. The place needs some attention to detail and TLC for the asking price.

Gorgeous cottage terrible access

The cottage was gorgeous, and very well thought out but the shower and toilet need renewing along with the water pressure in the shower. The access is terrible the way it’s designed it has scrapped the bottom of my car.

The absolute best view

Booking in the height of Summer, I was a little worried we'd be hot, but the sea breeze kept us really comfortable and the views are stunning - even from the shower! This house is very rustic but unbelievably charming. We loved the vintage and retro collectibles and the beds were all really comfortable. While the house is just one big room, the layout is well thought out and the four of us (2 kids) were very comfortable. We did have issues unlocking some of the doors, but the property manager was extremely helpful and is organising new keys for the doors. We will be back.
