I would highly recommend this property for a quiet relaxing getaway.The cottage is beautifully presented and located in great spot, close to an abundance of local wineries.Martin was a great host and made us feel very much at home.Will definately be returning here for our next Yarra Valley escape.

Perfect location in the heart of Yarra Valley and so convenient to Healesville township. We loved the peace and quiet and beautifully maintained property. The little extras of cookies and milk a bonus,also coffee pod machine. Weber bbq and pan was handy to cook a good breakfast. A sharp knife in the kitchen would of been useful.Highly recommend this cottage. Very comfortable stay. Birds and bunnies were plentiful.

Fantastic place for a getaway

The cottage was clean and well presented, amenities are good. The property is amazing, large garden and grassed areas to walk around and lots of wildlife. We had a fantastic getaway and can’t thank Martin and Antoinette enough for the hospitality they provided.

Wonderful property

Maddens Cottage is really a very lovely place to spend time. Really coudn't fault anything and the setting and beauty of the Cottages surroundings is perfect. Both Martin and Antoinette greeted us and were kindness itself.

Amazing!

Fantastic everything - location, accommodation and surrounding property, and hosts. Highly recommend for family or friend groups, loved that there was a couple camp chairs to take to vineyard concert we attended (above and beyond). Will absolutely stay again and for longer as soon as we can.

A tranquil retreat

A lovely little cottage in a gorgeous tranquil setting. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind while exploring the area. We fell asleep to the sound of singing frogs and woke to the birds. Very happy.

Excellent escape to tranquility

The cottage was delightful, everything we needed for a quiet getaway. Spotlessly clean and didn’t even see a spider! Marty was there on arrival and very accomodating. Location perfect. Thoroughly recommend this slice of heaven.

Such a beautiful, relaxing and quiet area. Away from the hustle and bustle. We were able to wander around the property and it was stunning with the most amazing veiws, of rolling hillsides. A perfect experience. The check in process was seemless and communication from the host was clear, prompt and helpful. The cottage is clean, well kept with, completely functional and very homely. The location is absolutely stunning, with amazing views of the valley, surrounding wineries and ranges.

Weekend cottage getaway!

We were beyond impressed with our stay at the Maddens Cottage! The cottage itself is impeccably clean, cozy and beautifully furnished - and the location is amazing! The property is private and tranquil, yet so close to nearby wineries of the Yarra Valley. Antoinette and Martin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable - with clear directions, helpful local knowledge, and personal touches and details within the accomodation that made our stay special! We can’t wait to come back and stay again, thank you :)

Rustic Country Cottage

Nestled in the countryside, this charming rustic cottage offers a perfect escape. With a quaint veranda and the soothing sounds of nature, it’s a tranquil retreat. Inside, a cozy integrated living room, dining area and small kitchen. The inviting bedrooms feature plush bedding and natural light, while the lovely garden with wildflowers completes the experience. The abundance of birds and wildlife is an added bonus. Very quite. A true gem for anyone seeking relaxation!

Highly recommend this perfect cottage in a fantastic location!

Such a beautiful and welcoming property. Loved that there was a coffee machine and pods provided, along with a few small additions. Really felt like a home away from home. Sitting on the porch watching the amazing wildlife and taking in the picturesque views, all while enjoying a drink and some food. It really was such a relaxing time away and well suited to family, couples and friends. So many wineries to choose from all within a short drive. There are also many other options suited for families. Cannot thank Martin enough for everything during our stay! Look forward to booking again in the future.

Peaceful and pretty

We had such a lovely time; the house was adorable and had everything we needed. It was better than the photos! The grounds were so nicely manicured with beautiful flowers and native plants. It was so peaceful and quiet and the hosts were so lovely. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay there again.

Peaceful Paradise

The property was beautiful and the cottage was well presented, cozy and well stocked. Loved the chickens, ducks and possums we saw around the cottage. It's so close to local wineries and Healesville, making our adventures so much easier. Would definitely stay again!

Getaway from the city

Had a lovely time staying at Madden's cottage. We were warmly welcomed by Martin & felt very much at home. Two lovely spacious bedrooms - comfy beds! Highlight was the wood fire, star gazing & seeing the ducks & chickens. Thank you for having us - we had a lovely family getaway.
