CABINE DE LA RIVIÈRE CHESTATEE

Si vous cherchez une cabine ADORABLE, «sur la rivière» .... un accès facile à Atlanta et à la Géorgie du Nord. Le DECK est littéralement sur la rivière!
La cabine vient d'être mise à jour avec de nouveaux appareils électroménagers, des meubles et un nouveau CVC. Plus confortable pour 2, 4 couchages. Animaux acceptés.
Asseyez-vous et profitez simplement du son de la rivière ou descendez et prenez le temps de faire un peu de pêche ou tout simplement se recroqueviller et lire un bon livre!

Wifi gratuit

La cabine est vraiment super avec un salon et une cheminée, un nouveau canapé-lit queen et une chaise longue en cuir. La chambre principale a un nouveau matelas queen et tous les nouveaux draps. Il y a une belle salle de bain avec une douche à l'italienne.
Nous avons généralement des nuits fraîches et des jours agréables dans les montagnes.
Il y a une télévision pour DVD avec une bonne sélection. Pas de câble mais nous avons le WIFI et l'Apple TV. La plupart des clients ne viennent pas à la montagne pour regarder la télévision et le câble n'est pas génial dans ce domaine! BEAUCOUP de livres et de magazines.

L'emplacement est au bout d'une route sans issue, seulement des bois directement en face de la rivière et à vingt minutes du centre commercial, si le shopping est votre truc.

Dix minutes de la charmante ville de Dahlonega où vous pourrez faire du shopping, dîner dans plus de 20 restaurants, faire du canoë sur la rivière, des sentiers de randonnée à gogo, de l'équitation à moins de trois kilomètres. OU ... vous pouvez vous diriger vers le centre-ville de Dahlonega et obtenir votre dose de Starbucks. Restez un week-end ou venez passer une semaine! Ces endroits sont difficiles à trouver et vous adorerez ce magnifique «refuge».

We travel to Dahlonega several times a year and have rented dozens of vacation properties. This property is our new favorite! The cabin is quiet and secluded, and nicely furnished. The real standout was the deck overlooking the Chestatee River. It's huge! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the birds, fireflies (or lightning bugs as we called them growing up), and other wildlife. We even saw an otter. It was warm during our visit, but a morning rainstorm gave us a hint of what the cabin would be like in colder months: cozy! We are looking forward to returning in the fall or winter. All in all, a great experience. Thank you to our host!

The property and cabin are the epitome of relaxation! It had everything we needed to unwind and just “be” all weekend. Fished right from the deck, enjoyed the fire pit and had the cozy inside to unwind before a restful sleep. The host was super responsive before and during the stay when we had a few quick questions. Loved the view of the river from the large deck and the sound of the water flowing. The cabin is out in nature (with a few neighboring houses) but also not far from town. We loved 19 North restaurant just off the square which had a dog friendly porch. The cabin being friendly for dogs was great for us too and our Labrador Retriever. We took a lovely hike part way around the path at the reservoir lake for the town of Dahlonega. The cabin had very good air conditioning which was a real plus in July. The bed had a comfortable mattress. The TV worked great. The walk-in shower was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed including a separate ice maker on the counter. The cleanliness of the property was very good and the host was readily available to answer questions. It did look like there was some tweaking of the closet storage space in the bedroom with some blinds lying in the closet floor and some extra furniture in there, but all in all the cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We plan to come back in the fall to see the leaves in color over the river and enjoy the fireplace in the cabin. Thanks for the stay! Linda

Great property in the woods, right on the river. And the location was far enough away, but close to town and everywhere we wanted and needed to go. It rained most of the time we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit, or sit out on the huge deck. It's a cute little cabin. It was quite comfortable for my husband and I, but any more people, it would be a bit crowded - especially if stuck inside due to rain. Anything that we could've needed was supplied - fans, small kitchen appliances, utensils, dishes, pots and pans, towels, linens. There were even some games, puzzles, and fishing poles in case you wanted to fish off of the deck. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. For the amount we paid, it was comparable and so much better than staying in a hotel. You can't get that view or privacy in a hotel.(Especially if you come in after dark, the last couple of miles to the property, don't rely on your GPS. Have the map handy and read everything the host provides before you go. I had already mapped it out before we got there, so our GPS was a backup. It would tell us we had reached our destination and it was what looked like a small gravel "inlet drive" on the side of the main road that only went about a foot before going straight into the trees, down the hill! From what I can tell, I think that was an off-road shortcut - straight down!! Yikes! But once we came and went a few times, our GPS finally caught on to the correct route!)

After a particularly tumultuous time, I booked the cabin for a month in 2015 and instantly fell in love with the soothing sound of the river. My goal is for guests to feel completely at home here, embracing the peacefulness, serenity, and natural beauty of this place—a haven to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with themselves and nature. I hope you find this beautiful retreat with its rustic charm to be a source of serenity and relaxation.
