Fantastic beach house with beautiful upgrades and fantastic view from lanai. The house was very clean and comfortable. We absolutely LOVE the king bed!Manasota beach was a 2-minute drive from the house (we timed it). Great location to get to downtown Venice, restaurants and shopping.

Really nice house has everything you need! Beach is 5 minute drive. House comes equipped with all the beach equipment. It’s also pet friendly though we did not bring our pet. The beds are what it’s all about when you’re on vacation and their beds were so perfect and comfortable. It’s a very very nice neighbourhood and very quiet. Super clean!!! We rent all over this area and I will rent this house again! Wish we had stayed long then 11 days! The Wi-Fi is set up for you to connect to the TV access to all your Home subscribe channels and automatically disconnect from your subscriptions the day you leave!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cute little house near Manasota Beach. The house was very clean and just right for my husband, his 82 year old mother and myself. The house was easy for her to get around given some limited mobility issues. The owner made sure the heat was on and greatly appreciated since it was unusually cold for our visit. The house is within walking distance to the beach, Wonderful sunsets. Really enjoyed searching for shark teeth on the beach. Kitchen had all the amenities and very neat. Very nice lanai would have loved to use more but weather was chilly. The owner recommended a couple nice restaurants. The area is quiet and has a lovely church nearby. If we return to the area would definitely consider staying again.

This place was perfect for us. Large back yard for the dog. Close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. House was nice and worked well for us. Well equipped kitchen. The host was quick to respond and nice to work with. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay

This house is just wonderful. We've stayed in and around Englewood for the last 5 years and we like this area the best. Nice quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and trails. House is as advertised with a nice lanai that looks out on a beautiful spacious yard. We were very comfortable. Colleen is a wonderful host who is easy to contact with any questions or concerns. 5 Stars

A fly in the ointment

The overall condition of the property was quite good, but the value did not match the cost. The master bedroom and connected bathroom were well done—except for some of the bedding— but the rest of the house looked like it was furnished from Goodwill or yard sales. At least the property was very clean. However, when we stripped the bedding, as required at the end of the rental, we discovered the pillows under their cases were soiled (visible stains). Would not go back for that reason.

Hi Fred, The owner strives to provide a 5-star experience for each of their guests, and they'd like to follow up with you on your feedback: -All of the furniture is brand-new from furniture stores and was selected with guests' comfort in mind -The owner works with an excellent cleaning service, and they inspected all of the bed pillows after receiving your feedback -They confirmed that none of the pillows were soiled. One had a small water spot, so they replaced both pillows in that bedroom The owner has made extensive updates to the home & property to prepare it for their guests. They're continuing to upgrade the space, and we're confident that upcoming guests can look forward to great stays at this Englewood retreat!

Great home- super clean. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic screened in porch with upscale outdoor furniture. Lovely private yard. Close to Manasota Key Beach - can walk or ride bikes provided. Enjoyed use of garage. Would definitely recommend. Management/host super helpful and accommodating. Hope to retun soon.
