Refreshing lakefront cabin located in a quiet area in Gilner Point. Woodsy interior with knotty pine ceilings and walls. Vintage aesthetic with modern touches. Nearby the lake, Holloway's Marina, and delicious local restaurants. Just a short drive to the Village, slopes, Snow Play, and National Forest hiking trails. .

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1000+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and bathroom. Second bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, five burner stove/oven, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Washer/dryer available.

OUTDOORS - Patio furniture, picnic table, Adirondack lounge chairs, and natural gas barbecue. Private boat dock with side tie (only available May through September). Enjoy the illuminated large back deck and fenced yard with string lights! Outdoor activities include cornhole.

Perfect place to unwind

Everything was lovely. It was clean and well stocked with amenities! Perfect for chilling by the fireplace and enjoying family. The weather prohibited a few things but we had fun just vibing.

Amazing Place to Relax and Regenerate

I went to Stillwater Cove Lakefront by myself to regenerate and recharge, away from the many stressors in my life right now. My lupus is very active right now and I needed a few days alone so my body could get some relief. Being so close to the lake so I could take easy strolls along the shore was just what I needed, since fatigue is an huge issue right now. And being able to see the lake from the cabin windows refreshed my soul. I will definitely be using this cabin again. A massive thank you to the owners for making their home so comfortable and sharing it with others.

The cabin was great. Well equipped. We stayed for 10 days. Considering this was dog friendly one of the gates did not lock so we had to rig it. The master bed was extremely soft but the other bedroom was perfect.

Stillwater Cove Lakefront

It was a wonderful little cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The views are just beautiful. The large fireplace in the cozy family-room was wonderful. We plan on renting the exact same little cabin on our next visit. The check-in and check-out was really well done.

Best Cabin!!

We had so much fun staying at the Stillwater Cove Lakefront cabin. Beautiful view of the lake! Cabin has its own dock for fishing or evenings sitting on the lake. Cabin was clean with a beautiful kitchen space. We will definitely be staying here again.

Off Season stay at a beautiful cabin

We had a great stay on Big Bear lake. The Dogs loved the fenced in yard, the Kitchen had everything and the fireplace came in handy on those chilly nights. Would highly recommend.

Georgous Vintage Cabin

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin. The location was hands down the most relaxing place we have stayed at up in Big Bear. The cabin was clean,warm & cozy. It had everthing we needed . We had our dogs and they loved the fenced garden , we all enjoyed lazy afternoons out on the deck watching the lake . We rented a pontoon boat from the marina close by , that was a great day out . Big Bear never disapoints when we come up every year in October . Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins for another great stay!

This cabin was amazing for a long weekend trip. The view out to the lake and around the house was beautiful and it was very quiet and peaceful. We brought our dog and he loved running around in the yard and walking down to the lake. Beware if you have small dogs they may be able to get out under the fence in a few areas. Everything in the house worked well, the beds were very cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Quiet neighborhood, with great view of the lake. Bed was comfortable, kitchen gadgets and supplies were appreciated. Home was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this location and home.

Magical Cabin

This gem of a cabin provided us with a lush and serene and magical place to unwind and relax with our two dogs. Plus take our boat out from the dock provided. It was everything we could ask for and more. The decor and kitchen are wonderful. Completely loved this space. Views from every window too. The deck and lounge chairs provided in the expansive yard with unmatched lake views make for an incredible experience. 5+ stars

Great location & beautiful grounds.

Great location with easy access to the lake. Beautiful landscaping with a covered rear porch/deck. Cozy living room with beautiful view of lake. Kitchen was great and stocked with necessary equipment. Plenty of towels in bathrooms. Bedding is dated, thin blankets and could use upgrading. No access to garage so parking is tight. But we would come again!

The cabin was in a perfect area we had a very enjoyable weekend fishing off the dock it sits in a very good place the cabin is a little bit outdated though it needs some upgrades such as the doors the blinds are a little bent the floor squeaks a lot a screen door would be nice

Cozy Cabin with Breath-taking Lakefront View

The cabin was cozy and perfect for a small family of 4. We LOVED the front yard with direct access to the lake. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful. Our stay would have been perfect if the staff made it easier and convenient for us to check in. Like what others have mentioned in their reviews, the check-in process was frustrating because there were no clear instructions on how to get the keys to the property. We wanted to get into the house right away because it was freezing cold outside and we were so tired from the trip. Upon entering the property, we could tell that the house wasn't cleaned properly because several areas throughout the house were dusty/dirty. The beds were also uncomfortable. The bedsheets, linens, comforters, and pillow cases were also not clean. We also disliked the fact that we have to take out our trash with us, and dispose it to one of the designated trash disposal sites out in town.

Stay at Stillwater Cove

I would rate it higher if we didn't encounter some basic problems. My sister and I are seniors and first thing we couldn't figure out was the tv. No instructions and we had an awful time navigating the two remotes in the living room. Second thing was the microwave. All we could figure out was beverage and baked potato. Never did figure out how to just set a time to heat up whatever we were trying to heat up. Third thing was the master bathroom shower. Couldn't get it to move to hot. The location was very nice. Can't beat that view. Beds weren't all that comfortable, but we managed. My suggestion for that tv is to leave instructions. That was the most frustrating. My sister is a tv fanatic. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

Cool cabin on lake!

Everything was great with the house. There were a couple areas where the communications with host could improve though. Lack of clarity around accessing the house. Messages with host indicated that a code would be provided the day of to enter the property. Once getting to the property we were told we had to drive to office to get a key. This was frustrating since we would have stopped at the office on the way up to get the key if we would have know. Instead we had to make an additional trip to the office. There was also confusion about what to do with the trash once we checked out. The note on fridge says to see the map that was laid out and haul trash out to a dump site. There wasn’t map provided though. I messaged host but didn’t hear back on what to do with the trash until we already left. Once we left we got a message to bring trash to office but it was too late since we already left and dropped off keys at the office. Minor issues but a lovely home in a great location.
