We loved our stay at Sunset Bay. It is a lovely place that is very well set up for a vacation rental. Communication was great and checking in was a breeze.

Fabulous place to stay!

Very nice,clean vaca rental. Beautiful view of lake. Bed comfy. Would stay again closer to June-aug time frame for warmer weather.

Paradise on the lake

The house is beautifully updated, plenty of sleeping space and the best thing is the beautiful lake view & lake activities available.We were there for a family wedding but decided to have a vacation at this house too!

Property is very nice! We loved watching the sunset on the pier each night. Neighbors are friendly too! Comfy beds! Enjoyed the back porch area for am coffee!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, sitting right on the lake. We really enjoyed spending time on the three-season deck; it was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in the beautiful water views. The kitchen was very nice and fully equipped with plenty of dishes, pots, and appliances, which made cooking meals easy. Unfortunately, it was a bit too windy and cold for us to do any fishing during this trip, but it looks like an amazing spot for it when the weather is calmer. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and was a great set up for 2 small families with young kiddos. Next time we would want to plan for more time on the water as we found the surrounding area didn't have a lot to offer for young families.

Peaceful getaway spot! Steps away from the water.

Wonderful place for a getaway: quiet, plenty of outside seats, firepit, sunroom provides a great view of the bay, and much more. The description does not do the location justice: it is much better. Bonus: grocery stores within a few minutes drive, and a ton of water-based activities.

Nice property with huge open lawn space perfect for corn hole! View of the water was perfection! The interior had no lamps, only overhead lighting which was way too harsh. The kitchen pendants were also too harsh, bulbs with no shades. Lamps or dimmers please. Nice property, otherwise. Kitchen well stocked!

Fun in the Sun at Sunset Bay

Great place for a family vacation or friend getaway. We celebrated our 19th Chick Weekend at Sunset Bay and had the best time! Very clean, spacious cottage with a cool, coastal vibe! Beautiful sunsets, awesome fire pit, and lots of fabulous things to do in the area! I would definitely book this place again!!!!

Overall it was a great stay, and we would choose this house again. Very clean, updated, and furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful back yard and views of the lake. Our only complaints were the overhead smoke detectors had very bright blinking lights at night. And it's a long drive to many activities we did in and around Detroit, though we knew the location before we booked. Would stay here again!
