Beautiful, quiet, Halifax getaway

Excellent walkable and easily driveable location for exploring downtown Halifax annd heading out along the southern coast. Most well-equipped rental we’ve ever stayed in (dishes, linens, toiletries, laundry etc). We will definitely be back!

Was a beautiful one bedroom rental which was in a great location and very well stocked. Only concern we wish the driveway was available to park the car instead of the busy road.

Wonderful Stay

The rental unit was everything expected and more. It was clean...losts of kitchen appliances..very homie...the unit was also located in a beautiful neighbourhood...if we were to visit again we would stay here witout thinking twice. Thank you to the hosts...:)

The unit was spotless and very comfortable. The full, well equipped kitchen was greatly appreciated. Nothing was overlooked. The neighbourhood was lovely, quiet and safe with excellent access to everywhere we wanted to go. We had excellent communication with our host. Highly recommended and we would stay there again.

Everything was excellent. Great location, great communication. I would recommend a blind for the front door as the large glass pane leaves an appetite for privacy. Other than that, cannot recommend enough for a safe, comfortable stay in Halifax.

Great location in a quiet neighbourhood

The property was ideally situated for us. It was locsted in a quiet neighbourhood. We loved being close to Point Pleasant Park. Our relatives lived 3 houses away on Tower Road. We could easily access many of Halifax's site seeing spots, grocery stores, waterfront, public parks, and major hwys to other parts of Nova Scotia. We liked the keyless entry feature.It was a perfect spot for us.

Cute little place for 2

Pristine clean! Well stocked and thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Owner takes care and pride in keeping the place nice for guests. Parking can be a challenge though. There is one parking spot and it was never a available for us. Parking on the street though but challenging until after 4 p.m.

Comfortable basement apartment in South End

One of the best equipped and furnished VRBOs we ever stayed at. Comfortable seating and bed. The location is a 2 minute walk to a bus stop with frequent service to downtown. I question the listing’s claim about walking distance to downtown. If 3 km/ 30 -minute walk is walking distance then, yes, it is in walking distance. Some noise from upstairs tenants but not a big problem. Host did not send check-in instructions automatically as other listings do. I messaged (through VRBO) and got no response the day before our arrival. I called and left voicemail. The morning of our arrival, host replied and texted instructions. All went smoothly after that.
