This home was very comfortable and well-appointed for our trip to the mountains. We loved how central the location was, the tranquility of the space, and the coziness of the cabin. It was everything we needed!

Three Generation Trip

The home was very cozy and relaxing which is what we needed. We spent one night in the house for supper and just watched tv. Location and views were great!

The property is located in a mountain area, and while the road is paved and well-maintained, it can feel narrow in certain sections due to the terrain. Perfect family getaway

This location was perfectly located for us to visit many top destinations during a quick trip. The cabin had more than enough room for my family of 4 plus my parents and our two fur babies. We were especially thankful to be able to bring our two small dogs and have adequate outdoor space to walk them.

Great view and we loved how the place was decorated! The bear theme was cute. There were a lot of great games my kids enjoyed. We’ll be back again when we are visiting family in Murphy!

This was the perfect place for my family to spend a long weekend. It was as pictured with no surprises. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the backporch for morning coffee and bird watching. The extra loft space and sleeper sofa were also great features. I'd stay here again! We enjoyed white water rafting, the local cinema, and golfing at Chatuge Shores while catching up with my daughter who is a staff member for SWO.

Wonderfully relaxing

Property was just as listed and was perfect for a relaxing weekend. There was everything we needed, including salt and pepper, cooking oil, pancake mix (!), and personal toiletries. Great view from the covered porch which is also perfect in the rain.

Enjoyable Family Visit

We have rented cabins near Murphy before when visiting family in Marble. This cabin was the best by far in both location and overall views/comfort. We appreciated the extra towels for our party, often my complaint when staying in other places The only suggestion would be to include some creamers along with the starter pack of K-cups.

Our wedding getaway

My family enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We came to NC for a friend’s wedding and felt right at home there. It was nice to sit out on the covered deck and listen to the rain. The place was very clean and well kept up. We brought our fur baby with us and the fenced off area was great to let her off her leash for a bit outside. Thanks for a great experience.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay! The cabin was really clean & well supplied with toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. The contact answered us right away when we had a question and resolved it. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and sleeping in rhe loft. The bed was very comfortable! Thank you! We will return!

Wonderfully Relaxing

We had a great relaxing weekend. The cabin was cozy, with a beautiful view of the surrounding green, tree-covered mountains. It was wonderfully quiet with only birdsong as a backdrop. All the amenities needed for a weekend were present, as well as everything needed for morning coffee. The bed was comfortable, the chairs deep and cozy, television coverage adequate, and telephone and wifi reception good. We would gladly return should the opportunity arise.

Great location

Cozy cabin in the woods. Was very musty and did not smell great when we checked in but we were able to air it out. A couple of the screen doors/window slides were not working great but otherwise no issues. Wish there had been a welcome basket or a booklet with fun recommendations. Would have been nice to have a personal touch in the cabin. Overall we had a great stay and it was a very serene experience.

The Place needs a total maintenance overhaul.

The place is full of a bug infestation.(spiders/,"stink bugs). The Shower heads need to be replaced . Several electrical outlets have no covers.(Fire Hazard). Molding in kitchen is falling off. Lack of a supply of toilets paper/ Paper towels. Wow! What a disappointment!

Beautiful View, Loved the Birds

The property has an incredible view of the mountains. It is very quiet and relaxing. In addition, we were provided with food for the hummingbirds and other birds (an unexpected extra). We had several hummingbirds the entire stay, plus cardinals, chickadees and many more. The cabin is large and open with a large deck. We had our meals, coffee, glass of wine there every day. There is also a lower deck that we didn't use. It was a great spot for our 4 day stay in the area. We did have two minor issues (thermostat and wifi). I just mention that because the communication when experiencing the minor issues was immediate and very helpful. I would recommend the property and will certainly consider again next time we are in the area.

We had problems getting on wifi. password was wrong that was given. it was on the framed notice, but we were given a different password. We just happened to notice it on the table, otherwise we would have had to call a second time. The outlet in the downstairs bathroom wasn't working, no trash can in the downstairs bathroom and some lights were burned out in the living room. and uptstairs bedroom. Otherwise it was an enjoyable vacation,

Fall leaves trip

House was clean and well decorated. Easy to get to. Beds were very comfortable. But best of all was the beautiful view and gorgeous fall leaves!!!
