The photos were misleading. The pool was cracked and run down, and the home was not clean. There was a pest issue, including ants, and promised pest control never arrived. Internet was out for three days with poor communication. Overall, the stay did not match the listing description, and I would not book this property again.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to leave your feedback. Upon your complaint about the ants outside on the deck- we did offer to send the pest control. We also offered to send our the cleaners for the complaints about the inside of the home. We were told that your prefer us not send them until after your departure. We do apologize for these issues. Regarding the internet, we found upon your departure that the modem had been unplugged. Our inspector ensured that the internet was working properly before your arrival so we regret not knowing that it had been unplugged. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention.

This place was amazing! They were stocked for several days of basic amenities, laundry soap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, ect. The house was clean, peaceful, and just perfect!

Booked house for my wife’s 51st BD with her lady friends because they wanted a pool. Started with house not being clean as it should have been. Floor mat's throughout house were dirty, counter tops had not been wiped off, and maintenance had not cleaned up mess where they repaired toilet paper holder. Yard had debris scattered around and roll up door at bar would not open. Ladies got into pool and neighbor immediately started screaming music was too loud. They think neighbor did not like their Tejano music. Manager had already warned me that there was a 10pm noise ordanance and I warned wife but this was 7pm. Neighbor called Cops and they said music was not loud but said they had to turn it off. Management called me and said if cops came and music was deemed too loud the ladies would be evicted. Next year the ladies will go back to the other end of the island where one neighbors rights don’t outweigh theirs.

We had excellent communication with the host prior to our visit & all during our visit. We appreciated the responsiveness.The property was clean and prepared for us. We were surprised at how well stocked the property was from kitchen supplies to basic necessities such as toilet paper & even laundry detergent was provided. The only thing we would recommend is advising travelers to bring ample bug spray. Since the property is right next to a state park/waterway, the mosquitos were really bad. We purchased a simple yard ‘fogger’ that you just sprayed & provided 6 hrs of coverage. That worked really well on top of personal bug spray. On the 3rd day of our stay the city was seen out spraying the streets for mosquito control.Other than that, our family loved the property and our time there!

Great Vacation Spot

great vacation spot for low key get away. Fantastic outdoor bar with TV and pool set up. Overall, a very nice experience. Would book it again.

Golden Getaway Review

We absolutely loved our stay at Jamaica Beach!! The house is beautiful and a great place to relax with porches on both front and back. We especially enjoyed the pool. We hated to leave and definitely want to come back for another vacation!!

Galveston Rental Home!

We recently stayed at this rental home near Galveston and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly attentive, and her communication with us was quick and efficient. The home was very clean and nicely organized, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Nice getaway

Took the kids and some friends for a getaway for spring break and stumbled upon this location. Clean and very accommodating. Definitely recommend.
