Beautiful and very spacious

We had a last minute getaway to Sodus point to enjoy their July 3rd Independence celebrations. The house was very large and spacious which my 3 teens enjoyed! We had some much needed family time and would definitely consider staying at this house again in the future!

A place to be to relax

Though older, the property is well kept and very clean. Even with 9 people, there was plenty of room and we were even able to easily manage with one bathroom. The town is very nice and was within easy walking distance. Great place to stay with a large group.

Beautiful grounds and the deer coming through the yard every day was a very special treat especially for thr children. None of us wanted to leave even the older children. Thank you so much for a great week.

Beautiful Home To Yourself

Such a beautiful home to have all to yourself with a huge lawn. So many deer wandering around which is always a nice sight while drinking coffee. This house has so much charm with the original hardwood floors and so much space and bedrooms. This is truly a great place to stay and so many things to do in the little town of Sodus Point.

The property provided our family of 9 with everything we could need in a home. Even though we knew before selecting this property, what would have made it perfect would have been another full bath or a 1/2 bath, an extra TV( although the WiFi made it possible for other options) and switching out one of the full beds for two twin beds. We were very close to a beach, marina, a golf course, a local tavern and friendly neighbors. Overall, we had an awesome stay while visiting family near by.

Owner's response: "Kate, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. - Our apologies we do not promise lake views, the photos were taken by Evolve and they do show photos of the lake but we do not have anywhere in the listing that this is a lake-side property. We have since had these photos removed so that no one else is confused thinking this is a lake-side property.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Clean house, close to town

House is very clean and nicely located close to the old light house, public beach and town. Kitchen has all the pot/pans, plates and utensils you need, including microwave, toaster and coffee machine. House does have only one full bathroom which did cause some traffic jams. Beds were very clean, but would not call them very comfortable. Also, we did miss comfy outdoor seating for some lounging. Owners are friendly and easy to communicate with!

We stayed to fish and visit the beach. On the listing the place looked neat and clean. The listing was not accurate there was no wifi and the listing said there was. The photos made the bathroom look accommodating but it was so small you could not even get dressed in there. Thee was no stove, no netflix or apps on TV just antenna channels, barely anything in the cabinets to use, no trashbags, two rolls of toilet paper with barely any on it we had to buy more, no papertowels, only a few bathtowels, no coffee maker we had to buy one and coffee mugs and coffee, the pillows on the bunk bed stunk so bad and when i looked in the pillow case the pillow was stained so bad!! The sheets and comforters did not smell clean so we slept on top of the beds and covered with our beach towels. The kitchen outside was a mess and chairs old, weathered! The ground where to parkunder the awning was muddy and unpleasant. When asked to get inside the two workers came and did not look professional. The place was not clean like all the other places I have ever rented on VRBO. This was so disappointing for us. We are not complainers and dealt with what we paid for. I would please ask for the owners to do more work to the place before renting to anyone else. We all get busy but if you advertise things to rent you should be accurate and accommdating so you have repeat customers! Also there were roaches in the living room may want to exterminate.

Bachelorette Weekend

The house is beautiful, the location is great. It’s within walking distance of the water, but a little farther from the beach. The only issue we had was that there’s only one bathroom and it’s upstairs. But all in all it was a great stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful but out of sight.
