We just got home from an awesome stay!! Our place was great! We went up Wednesday night and came home Saturday night. Cooked dinner every night. Mountain biked 7 miles and spent our time with friends at the pools and river. It’s a complete rest for our group of 12 between 2 families! Highly recommend for all ages!

Family weekend at Loon

Nice weekend away with my parents (60s) and daughter (10). Plenty of space for all of us and conveniently located to Loon where we enjoyed the adventure park (zip line!) and gondola.

The beds are loud and uncomfortable. The furniture shown in the pictures of the living room are not the same. The sofa was sunken in and there was a sofa and lounge chair not sofa and love seat. Normally not a big deal but when trying to watch a movie with a family it was limited. It was clean however due to the beds I probably wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed at this home for 2 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chris was very accommodating and answered any questions that came up. The home was very cozy and spacious for two couples. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

The place has some good things going for it but some major drawbacks as well. Everything is dated and the kitchen, upstairs bath and upstairs bedroom are very cramped. But, to be fair, the cheaper price reflects some of these shortcomings. A few grand would go a long way to make this really nice. Replace the carpet, put a small shelf or dresser in the upstairs bedroom, get a real shower curtain and some nicer towels. Fix the broken bathroom tile. Hide the tv wires and strange tech setup along the wall. Have some welcoming information and info booklet. Chris was nice and responsive, but the place has a sense of complacency. It’s good enough but I’m not sure anyone is too focused on guest experience. It needs love.

Thank you for the review. This is our second home and we spend lots of time there. We are constantly maintaining and keeping it up to date. Stove is 1 year old and so is the kitchen faucet. Bunks, beds are also recently replaced. Unit has new coat of paint, etc. There are more examples. Blanket comments like "everything is outdated" is not reflective of reality. However, our taste may not match that of our guests, but that doesn't mean things are out dated. Also, one person's definition of cramped is another's "perfect fit." As for the upstairs bedroom, there is a dresser and a shelf in there. I'm not sure how one could miss them. Both are shown in the picture of the upstairs bedroom. The tv is sitting on the dresser that the guest says does not exist. Tile in bathroom is not broken. Towels are of the same quality one would find in a nice hotel. Carpet in living room is agreeably towards the end of its lifetime and is scheduled for replacement.

Good but desperately needs more comfortable beds

The location at the Village of Loon is great for a family. We ended up with rainy weather so it was nice to have the indoor pool and rec center to give us something to do when the weather was bad. The condo was very clean and adequate, but it is worth mentioning that the upstairs bedroom is very cramped and can get hot in the summer. My major complaint was the beds/mattresses, all of which were extremely creaky and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a box spring. Because of that I wouldn't stay there again. Also worth noting that while the listing says that toiletries are provided it ended up being just face wash and lotion. Not a deal breaker but if I had known I would have packed shampoo and conditioner. Also, not a huge deal since we weren't there to watch TV, but the downstairs TV/remote didn't seem to work properly, I don't think it was a battery issue as someone who stayed months ago mentioned in their review, but whatever the issue was it doesn't appear to have been addressed.

Weekend getaway

The location and check in process was great. The rental suited our needs. The only minor complaints that I have were: Only one trash bag was provided and it would have been helpful if the rental company mentioned where the dumpsters were located. The other complaint is that most of the batteries were dead. We didn't end up watching TV but we had to spend $7 on AAA batteries in order to work the fire place. Cannot operate it manually. Other than that, we loved our weekend trip, spending our evenings by the fire place.

The property was great. Had everything we needed. Chris was extremely responsive and let us show up early and stay late. The beds downstairs weren’t the most comfortable, but worked.

Exceeded our expectations

There were two couples in our group of friends and we enjoyed a lovely & quiet & scenic weekend. This condo had an amazing location - directly across the street from Loon Mountain. The place was very clean and well-equipped. The pictures don’t show how large and spacious the house is! The two bedroom/bathroom areas are separated by three floors, so each couple had complete privacy. The middle floor had the kitchen/ great room/ dining and it was very comfortable to cook, lounge, eat, and relax together. It was a wonderful weekend thanks to a perfect accommodation. Chris was responsive to texts, and our deposit was returned to us the same day we checked out. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone. Thank you so much!

Great location away from the busy town

We happened to stay during a heat wave but most places up here don’t have AC probably based on location but it cools off at night. It was During Covid time so places were closed and kept the crowds down. The place had everything needed as a home away from home.
