However, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the scorpions and spiders, especially the painful sting. That sounds incredibly uncomfortable, and we can’t imagine how frustrating that must have been. This gorgeous property is planted and designated as a native Texas wildlife habitat, which means that occasional wildlife, including scorpions and spiders, may find their way into the surroundings. We do our best to keep the house free of any unwanted guests, but as you’ve experienced, sometimes nature has its own plans especially as the weather cools. We really appreciate your understanding, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your stay. We’ll continue to work with our pest control team to take every precaution to minimize the presence of wildlife indoors.
