We texted the host and were able to check-in an hour early. This is a beautiful condo with a great view of the gulf. We enjoyed meals on the lanai. It was very clean and there were plenty of towels for our use. The check-out process was very easy. The pool was beautiful. The only disappointment was that the living room tv was not a "smart tv" and we could not get Netflix to watch a movie at night.

It was a nice property, but the bedrooms was very hot due to no air exiting the vents!!

Thanks for the review. I'm sorry the bedrooms seemed to be warm for you. The AC works properly but the rooms can get hot during they day due to facing the western sun and the large sliding glass doors. We recommend leaving the curtains drawn during the day especially in the late afternoon when the sun shines through the glass.

Back porch restaurant was close & great food. Spacious rooms, property very secure. Staff was great if you had any issues. Would definitely return for another stay.

Our stay at St. Lucia was phenomenal. The condo was very clean and equipped with beach essentials like sand toys, foldable chairs, and small cooler. I loved the private beach access.

Perfect condo on Destin!

This condo is gorgeous! All the amenities are there, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and pillows, nice jacuzzi tub, beautiful view from balcony, lots of wall to wall windows, and in a perfect location!

Very Nice Condo

We will be back!

We had the best time! The condo had everything we needed and the resort was close to all the fun. I did extensive research on resorts and location and this one was definitely the best. We drove by ones we considered and I’m so glad we went with silver shells! We will definitely be back.

We have stayed at Silver Shells multiple times. Love the location, pool and beach it’s the only place we will stay in Destin. This condo has a good view BUT could use some updates. All the corners of every room, behind toilets, and baseboards were all dirty and covered in dust. Drapes dirty and torn. Carpet in bedrooms very worn. Needs a thorough clean. Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are even worse. Minimal supplies. Plan on buying toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. We were disappointed because SS is such a nice resort style place to stay. Will look for a different condo next time.

Great trip!

Condo was great! Everything was very clean and easy to access. We did not like having to drive to a separate location Several miles away to retrieve key fobs and return them at same location. That was a bit inconvenient after driving for so long but other than that it was perfect.

The key fob retrieval is actually for guest convenience, because if left in the condo and guests were to arrive later than 8 pm, the garage locks down and guests are unable to access without the key fob. So for consistency and to better serve guests, we have them at the office in the rental key box for retrieval after hours.

Very nice resort

Silver Shells is a great resort. We stayed in St Lucia and the property was very clean. The balcony is a good size and we enjoyed a few meals at the outside table there. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were flat. So maybe bring your own pillows. Very nice master bath. We couldn't figure out how to connect a cable to the Internet to have more options to watch TV but overall, we had a great time.

Great location! Extremely Clean! Excellent amenities!

Everything was perfect about the stay. Very clean, Nicely decorated, and can't beat the location. The one downside is that you need to pick up and drop off your wrist bands and key fobs 5 miles away in the opposite direction of the airport. We did not rent a car so it was an inconvenience for us to not be able to just pick up and drop off on the way in the cab. But everything else was perfect.
