Barefoot Beach House - Meredith Lodging

Follow the path and emerge on the sweeping Pacific City beach to the astonishing sight of Haystack Rock from Barefoot Beach House, a lovely single-level ensconced in shore pines and sand. This light, airy home with vaulted ceilings wraps around a spacious outdoor deck with a hot tub where you can relax in the sun by day and bask under sunsets and starry skies by night.

You’ll love this home’s quality appointments, including brand new LVP flooring, custom built-ins, a rustic gas fireplace, plush furnishings, and plenty of updates.
The skylit, fully-equipped kitchen has an ample breakfast bar and gas range for easy meals around the dining table, which is surrounded by windows for woodland views. A spacious King suite has vaulted ceilings and a heated bathroom floor; there’s also a queen bedroom with its own private deck and a bunk room for the kids.

Set up to be your home away from home with board games, ping pong, cornhole boards, bikes, smart TV with premium channels, BBQ, comfy beds, and all the kitchen appointments for any gathering. Take advantage of the foot washing station after a stroll on the beach for you and your dog. Extra refrigerator and freezer offer space for your “catch of the day”.

A dune ramp makes beach access easy, and it’s also a short walk to fine dining at Meridian Restaurant or less formal fare (and award-winning beer) at the Pelican Brew Pub. Take off your shoes and enjoy time in the elegant but relaxed Barefoot Beach House. You’ll enjoy Pacific City in a whole new way from this beautiful home.

The house was very clean and comfortable and all that we had hoped for. It was very well stocked with kitchen appliances and with fun activities available: hot tub, ping pong table, bikes. The beds were very comfortable. Access to the beach was more difficult than I had anticipated, especially for those of us with limited mobility, but other beach access was available within a short drive.

Home was welcoming, bright, and well equipped. It provided a great space to have additional family come hang out - the ping pong table, hot tub, and TV with lots of sports channels were big hits. Really liked quick walk to beach. Appreciated large supply of utensils, dish ware, towels and blankets. A couple surprising oversights included:-poor WiFi in back bedroom -insufficient supply of soap and body wash in bathrooms-zero hand soap in kitchen, along with very small amount of dish soap-zero sponges or kitchen brushes for hand washing dishes -no instructions for fireplace -no Kleenex in either bathroomThose were small annoyances that were easily overcome, but could be nice additions to make the stay even better.

Thank you for the detailed review. I'm so glad you found the home bright and welcoming and that the kitchen supply, game table, hot tub and TV lineup helped your group enjoy time together. I'm sorry about the weak WiFi signal in the back bedroom and the shortages of cleaning supplies and fireplace instructions. We will look into adding a WiFi extender, write up fireplace operating instructions, and will absolutely have housekeeping restock the soap supplies. Thank you for calling these items out so we can make immediate improvements.

The perfect place for a girls getaway. Loved that we could pop over to the beach and watch the sunset, walk to yummy food, and come home to relax in the hot tub. The master bed was comfy and there was plenty of extra towels, pillows, blankets!

Lovely beach stay

I stayed here with my husband and parents and it was perfect for us. It was quiet and a short walk to many things. We loved the paths around the neighborhood, the proximity to the beach, and the hot tub. Would def stay here again.

Relaxing atmosphere

The property is in a wonderful location, quiet neighborhood, very easy walk to the beach or various eateries and sites. The back deck is secluded and quiet and a wonderful place to spend afternoons or evenings. The home is warm and inviting and the beds are extremely comfortable. Excellent property and location. The pictures are understated; this house was fantastic! Super comfortable beds and sofa, great condition home, wonderful hot tub, quiet neighborhood, spotless property with great essentials provided. The location is literally a three minute walk to the beach, local surf shop, brew pub and market. One mile from the best coffee in Pacific City too!! Best coastal property we have stayed in this far!!

Liked the neighborhood and access to the beach and the gorgeous lookout point Very dog friendly with lots of walking paths Kitchen was well appointed which is helpful and the barbecue was I great shape!!

Perfect location and we absolutely loved the place! It was a great set up for us and the kids to have a fun getaway. Neighborhood was really quiet and located near shops and places to eat. The hot tub was our favorite part after a long day of exploring and hiking. It was super clean and well maintained. The house had everything we needed to enjoy cooking meals together and enjoying our time on vacation. Would 100% recommend!

Beautiful getaway

The property was so beautiful! The hot tub was an amazing plus, and there’s a cute private walk to the beach, there’s so many games to play also which was a plus!

Very clean! Very well stocked. Group of 6 and it was very comfy for all of us. We would definitely tent this house again. So close and easy to get to the beach.
