Great Location

This is our second time staying here and loved every minute. It is very clean, a great layout and close to Higgins and Houghton lake. We went to South State Park everyday and it is only a 5 minute drive and 10 minutes from putt putt. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone

This was so well appointed and a great location. Very clean and communication with host was excellent. Definitely would rebook at this cabin for our future visits to Higgins Lake.

4th of July Vacation

The cottage was super clean, air was cold and in the perfect location. We were only 5 minutes to the Higgins Lake and like 7 from Houghton Lake. The amenities were everything that was mentioned and more, plus all 4 beds were very comfortable. We will be back for sure.

Diamond in the rough

Perfectly located rental. Very close to a few golf courses. Nice quiet area to stay. Very clean. Has everything that we needed including towels and toiletries.

Property was absolutely what we were looking for. Family of 5, including 3 kids with all their devices. The house was properly equipped for their internet and charging needs. Lots of available USB Charging for their stuff and our radios. House was spacious and clean. Ample parking for a pair of Broncos and the kids car. Its well within striking distance of any of the trails you'd like to run, and just minutes from downtown Houghton. The neighborhood was quiet, met a couple of the neighbors, very friendly. We had very peaceful evenings after we got off the trails. Would definitely stay here again.

It's wonderful to hear the WiFi and charging setup kept everyone connected, and that the space, parking, and quiet neighborhood all worked out well for your trail adventures. Being just minutes from downtown Houghton while still having peaceful evenings is exactly the balance we hope guests find here. Very nice but...

The place was very nice. It was clean with new appliances. A dishwasher would have been usseful. Check-in went fine though we needed a little help from the owner. The difficulty we had was the many levels to navigate for 2 80 year olds.
