Embrace the 70’s vibe and plenty of ocean light in Retro Retreat, a whimsically restored wood-lined beauty a block from a beach access in Lincoln City. Stacked on top of its garage, this home’s vaulted great room has a wall of windows to the sea and an outdoor wrap deck lined with Adirondack chairs perfect for watching the sunset. Even better, a loft with a retro built-in wet bar hovers over the living space for additional ocean views out its own set of windows.

An updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar is fully equipped for dinner in the ocean-view dining nook. The giant yellow life-guard surfboard, wood stove, groovy wallpaper, and period furnishings lend an amusing, laid-back aura. Two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa promise restful sleep after your day at the beach.

This place is cool, comfy, and retro! We loved everything about it. Hot tub, clean, hot and what a great private space. The living area, clean and cozy with a great view, and the fireplace is a nice warm touch. Main bedroom was roomy and comfortable. Ping pong in the garage was a lot of fun too. Wish I could have stayed longer. Love this fun house.

Great House. We loved it.

The house was impeccably clean and cozy. We felt at home from the start. The hot tub didn’t work properly and smelled pretty bad but everything else was great. The house had all the amenities we needed/wanted and was super close to the casino.

Gorgeous Property!

This property is amazing! The house is so cute and decorated so tastefully. The beds were comfortable. The location is within walking distance of the beach! There were tons of games for all ages to play, which was very fun after a day on the beach. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Lincoln City!

Nice stay at Retro Retreat

This is the third time my family and I have stayed at the Retro Retreat. We like how it's close to beach access, quiet, and cozy. The bed in the upstairs bedroom is comfortable and our kid hasn't complained about the downstairs bed, so I assume it is too. There were a couple things that I wish the cleaning crew would have caught but otherwise the place was in good shape. We haven't tried out the hot tub yet so I can't speak to that. It's nice how there's a faucet by the driveway where you can rinse the sand off your shoes or clean off a spot on the car a sea gull might have gotten. The kids really enjoyed getting to play cornhole in the basement. They also enjoyed that there was a Ninja blender in the kitchen.

Perfectly calming

This home is a perfect place to just calm the mind and re set the soul. That might sound cheesy, but it's true. The home has a well stocked kitchen, spices and all. Living area, deck, and hot tub were all great to just relax in. the beds are very comfortable and there are several pillow choices. The master bedroom is right above the secondary bedroom and has an amazing view. There is one warning I will give. Noise will easily transfer to the secondary bedroom. It sounds like you're heavy walking even with slippers on. That being said, we would all stay here again and agian.

Horrible Stay

Do NOT USE MEREDITH LODGING! owners/Meredith lodging horrible . They have cameras, and the neighbors are super nosey, and are all in your business. We looked at this place online, mis read that pets weren’t allowed, no problem, we talked about the situations and my dogs were gone the next day; like they requested. Then our mother in law came to visit had her sons diabetic dog, in the back of her jeep, windows down, NEVER GOT LET OUT ON THE PROPERTY. Or around the property. We get a call couple hours later, saying our policy has been terminated, they said you have 60 mins to vacate the property. So I had to get my 9 month old and 4 year old daughters out of the house, and all your belongings. Again the dog or dogs never went on or around the property, they stayed in our vehicles with windows down; and walked to the beach if they needed to go potty. They wouldn’t even let me talk to a hire power. They are crooks, said one thing, and communicated it was ok, then they back track and lie. Neighborhood is really small, and filled with snobby rich people who live on the Oregon coast
