The house is the stage for the incredible River views - each floor-to-ceiling windows is a picture frame for the artwork nature. We offers an unique experience of seeing and hearing salmon jumping out of the river right on your couch. Best place to be seeing Salmon Spawning.
The backyard offers very long bank line along the river. There are four dedicated fishing spots in the backyard. The widest River bank, slowest river current makes it the best place for fishing on Campbell River.

Master bedroom :
walk-in closet, queen size bed fireplace and amazing river views.
The secondary bedroom:
two double size beds with garden views.
Sleeping 4 comfortably.

Kitchen: Gas Stove, Microwave, Full size Fridge, Coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle. Pots and pans including various cutlery. Glasses, mugs and wine glasses.

Clean comfortable property. Lovely view of the river out large windows in the living room. Overall clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of the home was fantastic! We enjoyed fishing on the river and watching the river in the living room. Saw lots of salmon and a few black bears which was very fun.

Fishing Campbell River was spectacular. The views of the river were fantastic. The unit was adequately furnished and stocked. The unit needs a good deep clean. The management was slow to respond to communication but eventually they responded.

The information given to check in was wrong so was almost a hour waiting for confirmation of what was going wrong. Wrong access code and wrong floor. The kitchen could use some dish cloths as I used my face cloth. But beautiful spot!

Fraud Alert - Reporting to my bank!

Host doesn't 'monitor' messages from VRBO or guests. The reservation didn't show up in my account and I got no confirmations or communications. I opened 3 help desk tickets, sent her text message, left voicemails and sent separate messages on VRBO platform begging for assistance in getting access to the reservation. No response until I CANCELLED and rebooked elsewhere. At which point she responded that she wouldn't cancel and wouldn't refund. My first attempt to reach the host was on 4/5. I requested cancellation on 4/20 when I still did not have any information for getting to or accessing the reservation. SKIP THIS ONE. HORRIBLE HOST!

Prachtig verblijf op perfecte locatie

Het was geweldig! Het uitzicht vanuit de woon- en slaapkamer is geweldig. Er liepen zelfs 2 beren aan de overkant van de rivier langs de oever. Prima plek als uitvalbasis voor hikes, walvistours e.d.

Paradise and nightmare

Beautiful scenery by the river but at least three times we were locked out due to problems with the key paid. We were not given any written instructions about using the key pad and trial and error was a nightmare. The last night we were there, at around 1:30 am a man was stomping around the outside of the house and shining a light in windows and eventually started ringing the doorbell. When we finally opened The door he said he had rented the upstairs unit and a key was supposed to be left under the mat but was not there and he didn’t know who to call. It was very frightening for us. We gave him the name and number of the host. And eventually he got in and it it was extremely loud

Amazing view of the salmon jumping in the river.

The property is designed for the view of the river - and for good reason. It's a beautiful view, while we were there the salmon were leaping and eagles swooped past. Inside the property is nicely decorated with only a few small issues. Outside the property does look a bit shabby but this does not impact on the quality of the stay at all. Not enough hot water for a decent bath and slow communications with the host.

Great but


The house was described and comfortable. The views from the windows were spectacular - we watched bears & cubs, bald eagles soaring and salmon in the river below. My husband enjoyed fishing next to the house. However, like other reviewers, we were not satisfied with the cleanliness. There was trash on the outside stairs when we first arrived. The floors had crumbs and long back hairs in several rooms. The first thing I did was locate a vacuum and clean. There was also trash and beer cans outside the house near the fishing spots. We were also hoping the home was more remote than it was. While it was convenient to be close to town, there was road noise and several other homes very close to this property. Unfortunately the house closest to us had a group of young adults partying late into the night.

Great place, BUT

This property is as advertised in the listing, and the 3 anglers with me couldn't get over the river view and location. We would likely visit again, though - the cleaning fee is a total rip off. We dealt with filthy floors; dripping wet dishes in the cupboard (pots and bowls had puddles in the bottom); greasy, chunky baking sheets that needed soaking and scrubbing before we could use them; huge stains on the couch, and grimy windows. We picked up candy wrappers, and vacuumed popcorn, a toothpick, and dirt before relaxing the first night. - if you expect to cook real meals, bring your own kitchen basics like measuring cups & spoons, a whisk, a sharp knife. - be aware that you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom. It wasn't a huge deal for us since we were a family group, but was a bit odd.

Beautiful river front stay.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Warm temps made the river front location even more delightful for swimming and wildlife watching. A bear wandered along across the river one morning. Awesome!

The home was all that we hoped it would be. The birds we saw on the river was incredible. The deck and yard were ok, the outdoor furniture was old.

Great location for river fishing as right on the Campbell River. Lots of salmon & we even saw bears right across the river from us. Entry driveway & exterior really needs work but inside was a nice 2 bedroom with full kitchen & living area. 2nd bedroom is only 2 twins so not great for a couple that likes to sleep together. Stainless sink in kitchen needs a deep clean with SOS
otherwise a great Location for tourists & fishermen!
