Great spot for a getaway!

My husband and I enjoyed our little get away. There was one interruption when we were awaken by knocking on both doors but the owner was super helpful and assured us it wouldn't happen again, and it didn't. The rest of the stay was super delightful. Would recommend 100%.

Perfect Getaway

Needed a change of scenery for a couple of days and this was perfect! Quaint, cute and a delight. Will be visiting again.

The studio is great for couples and the view of the lake is beautiful. We loved sitting by the lake at the start and end of days. The only thing is it needs a different microwave. It doesn't have the rotating plate in it so it didnt work well with popcorn.

This is a really fun studio cabin with a great location. The description said “Rock River access” but that is understated: the river is literally (and I do know the correct meaning of that word) less than 10 feet from the patio door. We stayed here for the Horicon Marsh Bird Festival and the location was ideal, a very short drive to Visitors Center and other sites. We also saw warblers in the cabin’s yard and many pelicans flying over and swimming in the river!

Clean space. Beautiful view. Close to everything. Everything you need is in the cabin. Lots of traffic passing by. Didn't realize we were on a main road until it was too late. We heard a few owls late at night. Parking is a little confusing and tight. Good heat and fans. Shower was nice. We would visit again.

Anniversary Trip

We wanted a short getaway for our anniversary. We visited Horicon March for walks and bike riding. We grilled our own dinner one evening. Then had other meals in Beaver Dam. We LOVED the view of the Rock River and the fact that we could sit a few feet away from it to have morning coffee. The studio was cozy and full of windows. Perfect getaway!

Relaxing

Needed to get away, unplug, and fish for a few days. The place is exactly as advertised, if not better. My property contacts Brian and Ashur made everything as seamless as possible. I will return.

3 night fall get-away

Location is great. Sitting next to the water and the views- remarkable. It met our needs for the get-away. Overall we had a wonderful time. Extra details and ease in communication were much appreciated. Suggest that owner updates microwave, hotplate, bed frame and linens. Refrigerator is extremely loud.

ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!

Our stay was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our cottage was nothing short of wonderful! The owners knew it was our Anniversary and greeted us with a card and chocolates on table as soon as we walked in the door, so very thoughtful and sweet. The place was beyond our expectations! I have learned from staying at VRBO's that a lot of places do not have little essentials that you may need, so I make sure to pack them, they had EVERYTHING and more. The view was beautiful! This VRBO has now become my happy place! My only request is that no one requests my Anniversary dates moving forward haha!

Pretty okay

Cute little spot! Over all very clean. Mold in the corners of the shower, but not major. A bit of feedback- get rid of the plug ins and scent beads. Not ideal for those with asthma- and puts a damper on the stay. Parking as also tricky. We had one vehicle, but the other cabin on the property had three trucks/Suv and when everyone isn’t considerate navigating is difficult. Overall the property is cute, clean, and friendly.

Great things come in small packages.

This place was an actual 5 star experience. From the location to the water. One of the best parts was how close to the river it truly is. Paddle boat and fish was a dream. I caught and released all weekend from bass, sun fish, carp and Cat fish. I will be back. I think I may have found my go to location for and vacation. Oh and I also enjoyed the lack of distraction. No wifi was a nice surprise by the end of the weekend. Thanks goes to the host for a fantastic birthday getaway.

So quiet and peaceful

This place was perfect for a short vacation for my boyfriend and I. It was so peaceful, clean, no clutter, and oh so quiet. When we first arrived, the twinkle lights were on under the pergola so it was easy to see where we needed to find keys when we arrived. The instructions on parking and checking in/out were easy and clear. I saw that there was no stove/oven, so I prepped all my food ahead of time. It was great having a full sized fridge to store all the food. The location was so great for kayaking, biking, and hiking. But best for just relaxing and resting. The cabin next door was rented by a group of young men, even though the building is close, it wasn't a problem at all! It was so lovely. I can't wait to come back again!
