This was one of the closest and most budget-friendly places to stay near West Edmonton Mall. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The place was comfortable for four people, with plenty of amenities and utensils available. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it!

Practical, very near the West Edmonton Mall, the A/C in the ceiling is a bit noisy and the orientation of the shower in direction of the curtain is weird, but a nice place to stay in

Perfect Location

An amazing location for anyone planning to spend time at the West Edmonton Mall. Suite was nice and private with separate entrance. Access to a washer and dryer a nice bonus.

Great location

Had a great stay here. I was on a solo trip that saw me leave early and come home late. It was the perfect quiet spot for me to relax. Close to the mall and restaurants as well as under $20 to taxi to the casino. Thanks!

I don't recall it being mentioned in the ad itself but there is a family living in the house right above the suite and their child(ren?) were very active in the morning. Starting at about 9:30 AM on both days we were there, we heard the kid(s) very, very loudly running, stomping, and crying, and it continued for at least an hour. I know that's not normally early morning but it sucked for us on our vacation because it woke us up both days. Luckily we were out of the suite for most of the day anyway and it quieted down in the evening. There was rain in the area right before we arrived which attracted many, many mosquitos. There was quite a bit of water pooled right outside the entrance at the bottom of the stairs, along with some yard material, that is just going to ensure the bugs keep breeding and remain in the area. We had to squish 3+ every time we came inside, since they ended up coming in with us.

It had everything I needed. But an outside motion light for arriving after dark would be really benefical. Its hard to navigate in the gate and down the stairs in the dark. Some stepping stones across the grass to the gate would be a good addition as well. It would make it more obvious where to enter. The gate latch could use some attention. Storing your cleaning equip somewhere else would also be nice. Otherwise all seemed good.

Not accessible to disabled

The property is unkempt and you trudge through tall grass to get into the back yard. The first step into the basement is broken, very tall, and made of slippery tiles. There are no handrails going down into the basement suite. The suite itself is very clean and new looking. There was only 3 places to sit (stool, futon and bed), none of which are comfortable. The bed is quite firm. Check in check out was easy. Very quiet.

Hi Melinda, We wish you had inquired whether this place meets your accessibility needs and we would’ve loved to have a dialogue about it before your booking and stay to ensure your stay would’ve been to your standards. This is the first time we’ve been notified of your disability. The grass is cut often as it grows very quickly, and the route is quite short to get into the suite, so there’s absolutely no trudging involved. The suite is exactly as pictured as you noted “clean and new looking” with as many places to sit down as shown in the advertisement. Our previous guests have found the 4 places (not 3) to be enough places to sit. The bed’s mattress is not firm, it is a luxury plush which has received many compliments from our guests. We’re glad check out was easy for you and you found the place quiet. Guv and Sukhi

Great little place, in a safe neighbourhood, a 15 minute walk to West Edmonton Mall. Could use a deep clean, but it was clean where it counted. And a good price. Beds were comfy.
