This cabin was the perfect getaway for us two lovebirds to soak in all of nature and be able to getaway in the hill country. The chef had plenty of kitchen space and items needed to grill steaks, make pancakes, and even a nice light lunch! Would absolutely plan to stay again!

Comfortable and beautiful cabin

Lajita was a comfortable and beautiful cabin to stay in. It had all the amenities and was merely minutes from town. I highly recommend this little cabin to anyone looking to get away.

The amenities were great. I loved the peace and quiet. Local wildlife did come and visit in the evening and even tried to get the hot tub going! The electrical plugs in the kitchen are a little sticky, so I would recommend checking them or replacing. It was lovely to sit out on the porch and enjoy the wind through the trees. I look forward to visiting again.

Nice quiet spot for quiet time though close enough to activity and restaurants. Very clean and fairly well stocked with essentials. Fire place was lovely.

Lovely Cabin

This was THE cutest cabin - very, very clean, well decorated/furnished. Everything appeared to be brand new. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. The host was quick to reply when I had a question about directions.

This cabin was clean, cozy and very nicely decorated. I personally wasn’t comfortable with the location being so secluded in the woods although my husband loved it. We were unhappy with the drive to the cabin on the washed out caliche road. This was mentioned as an issue by previous reviewers but apparently nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Husband was fairly upset about it. If we were to visit Wimberley again, we would prefer to stay somewhere closer to the shopping area and more drive friendly.

The area for the cabins, in general, is safe and quiet. Walking the gravel roads among the cabins made for great morning walks! The cabin itself, upon first glance, appears to be well kept and cozy. Needed: Proper drainage from the kitchen sink! Dishes could not be washed all at once, due to the backed up drain. The "temporary fix" of gray flex tubing under the sink that "needed to be wiggled" to drain (?) was not advised until after we had checked in and encountered the problem. As well, family members noted balance problems in the kitchen area, especially, due to the slope of the floor. The bathroom faucet was not secured and popped off frequently when trying to turn the faucet on.
