A beautiful & very clean home. Enough room for two couples traveling. It was a great location for exploring up & down the coast of Maine. We enjoyed the restaurants in the area. Well stocked kitchen and grill is available We loved the deck too. If we get back to Maine, we would stay again. Thank you!

Our stay was in the first week of April. The house was warm and cozy and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room for our family of three. The kitchen had everything we needed. Convenient location, quiet neighborhood. Host was responsive when I had a question. I would book again.

Cozy, clean stay!

Came to spend time with friends - my Gus and daughter and I felt right at home. The home was clean and cozy upon arrival and made for a great home base while we enjoyed our time visiting family and friends!Highly reccomend!

This is such a cute house. Very clean with a lot of amenities. It had a lot of room for everyone that stayed. The neighborhood is so cute. Highly recommend staying here

Great home in Saco

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Used it as a meet-up spot to visit with family from out of state, as it was a halfway point for both of us. Beds super comfy and bedding soft and luxurious. House is well appointed and owners were extremely attentive. There were a few cleaning issues, but owner made aware and will address with cleaning service.

Only one issue and that was they locked us out a day early but they got right on it and we were back in the house within minutes. Place was clean and cozy! They should provide trash bags or let you know that you will have to buy them. Everything else was great

From the owner: "I’m sorry to hear parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. The home was inspected immediately after your visit, and no signs of mold or odor were found in the bathroom. The downstairs screen is a monitor for guest use, not a TV, which is why there’s no remote. I always want guests to have a comfortable experience and wish I’d had the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay, as your message came after checkout."

Week away

Four of us (family, all 65+) stayed one week in this lovely, quaint home. It was the perfect spot for our day trips in and around Saco, Maine. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and easily accessible. The Guest Book left by the owners was very helpful. After a day of sight-seeing, it truly felt like "home" and we enjoyed relaxing at night in the comfortable living room. There is also a family room/den on the lower level that we did not use as the living room on the main floor more than met our needs. We would stay in this lovely home again if we decide to return to Maine.

Perfect for our Needs

My husband, married kids, and their spouses traveled to Saco to attend a family wedding and we rented this home. The location was perfect and we enjoyed our time together there. We all slept well, the bathroom arrangement was great, and everything met our needs. The home was cleaned and there was nothing amiss so no need to contact the owners but they reached out in advance and were very helpful.

Grandparents meets great granddaughter

Nice house, nice neighborhood. My only complaint is that it advertised - “ this property features step-free entry”. Both entries had stairs and the back entry did not have a railing. On the main floor the kitchen is step down and the main entry is through the kitchen. It was a little disappointing, since we base our decision on “step-free entry”. Otherwise it met our needs. I would recommend it, but not with someone with mobility issues.

What is that smell?!

Place was cute, and well taken care of. Except for one major issue. Smelled like something died in the basement. Made the basement TV room completely unusable. And the smell traveled up the stairs and into the living room and dining area as well. Owners clearly knew of the issue based on the number of air fresheners in the basement. We were only there a couple of days. Any more and we would have probably left.

We use a cleaning crew to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival.- We wish you had reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning crew to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.- We do have air fresheners at home to keep the air fresh for our guests. We have never experienced problems with bad odors in our home and our cleaning crew did not report anything unusual before, or immediately after, your stay. That being said, we apologize for your experience and will look into what may have caused the odor.- While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!

Great location and well-equipped, comforable house

We really enjoyed our stay. We were attending, and participating in a wedding at River Winds Farm and Estate and it was only a few miles away. The location was great for exploring the area and has easy access to highways. The house was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions and requests. We would definitely stay here again!
