This cottage is designed to take full advantage of the lake views, whether you’re cooking dinner, relaxing in front of the fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a quiet moment in the gazebo, or spending the day at the beach. Get your beach vibe on!

INSIDE
Open concept featuring reclaimed barn wood beams, thick stone walls, and an airy interior with a full wall of windows that makes the most of the phenomenal views, the Bedrock Beach House inspires a deep sense of peace and happiness. The open kitchen is clean and bright with everything you need to prepare meals in. Fridge, Stove, Microwave, dishwasher etc. Seating for 4 at the dining table plus an additional 3 seats at the island where you can chat with the chef and enjoy a meal together, all the while looking at the lake.

Living Area has gas fireplace with sweeping views of the the lake. SmartTV so you can login to your own Netflix or enjoy cable we have provided. You can also plug your device in. There is great WIFI. Even on a rainy day it’s so cool to watch a movie and the storm!

OUTSIDE
When you first step out of your vehicle, you'll notice the glorious gardens planted with native grasses and pollinator flowers leading a path to the front door. The side garden is loaded with fresh herbs that can be used in your cooking!

The patio offers ample place to sit and relax as you watch the seagulls fly by or enjoy the sunset. Share your family favorites outside with dining for 6. You can play soccer with friends, take a nap in the hammock or tell ghost stories by the fire at night. You can even sit in the gazebo early in the morning and have a cup of coffee as you listen to the calming waves and birdsong. As night falls, soft lighting illuminates your path down to the gazebo and the beach.

Once down at the beach, you can sit on the chairs and relax, go for a swim, or even have a bonfire! The beach itself can change from day to day. The wave action can turn rocks into a lovely sandy beach in a matter of hours.

NOTE: Approx. 60 stairs down your private access to the beach. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 4, violation will result in removal without refund. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance)

Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:
❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two.
❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.

Clan Gregor Square is the heart of our quaint community where many local festivals/carshows and you won't want to miss the farmers market in season. Pioneer Park is another local favorite—kids will love cooling down at the splash pad. There's always something happening here, whether it's morning yoga or artists painting the sunset.

Wander downtown and find your new favorite cafe, and be sure to save a day to explore Bayfield's wineries and breweries! Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy an amazing wine tasting experience at Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery.

Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.

With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.
