Private Guest Suite in North Vancouver H912202172

One of the very few truly Central Lonsdale private listings: 2 blocks from public transit, bars, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to mountains, beaches or downtown Vancouver. A new studio with private entrance, fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, cutlery etc.) and Wi-Fi. Full bathroom with shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fresh towels and free street parking 4PM-11AM. Our kids are awake from 7AM-7PM.
The space
This spacious suite includes in floor heating and full private bathroom with a new waterfall type shower. Private access is secure as you will be provided your own key. The mini fridge and toaster/coffee/tea kitchenette allow for a quick bite before jumping into Vancouver. If anything is missing, jut let us know!
Guest access
There is free street parking, 2 hours between 11AM and 4PM, otherwise no restrictions. All the main bus lines run through Lonsdale (1 block away) or 15th street (3 blocks away). We are a few minutes from the highways and a bit more to the bridges.
Other things to note
The key to the suite is located in the lock box on the door adjacent to the suite door. We will contact you after you book with us to provide the lock box code. The key inside is for the sliding glass doors (not the door the lock box is hanging on). Our storage room is located adjacent to the suite entrance, so you may occasionally see us coming in and out of the storage or on the stairs leading to the suite.

Great place for a getaway!

We had a great stay at Sebastian’s place. Easy check in, super clean and fantastic location. I walked to JJ Bean for for every morning. Walkable to many restaurants and breweries.

Great area, relaxed neighborhood within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The accommodation was excellent, clean and very well presented. Sebastian & Camilla were extremely helpful with local information and very friendly to my wife and I. Having stayed previously in basement apartments i would have to say this is above average.

Close to Lionsgate

This property is perfect for access to Lions Gate hospital. I love that this property is in walking distance for everything I need. The host is very responsive and considerate.

A home away from home

My stay was warm and the suite had all of the amenities . The hosts were available to meet all of my needs and provided more than expected. Close to amazing food, shoppes, Galleries and seabus. I will definitely return!

Check on very smooth, nice clean space however no plug in bathroom no mirror except bathroom so straightening or curling hair is a challenge. No air conditioning or heat in unit. You can hear children tv through the shared door.

Sebastian was prompt in all of his communications with us. The house is close to Lonsdale Ave which had some nice restaurants and shops. Clean and cozy room.

great location, spacious room, but a little noise sometimes

Arrival was a bit tricky as we were arriving late at night and the address was leading us to the back of the building (the building has multiple entrances) so it took us a bit to find the actual entrance. The room is super spacious which was so nice as we had room to open/lay out our bags. Wifi wasn't listed so there was a delay in getting the code since it was too late to ask when we arrived. Bathroom was nice and shower was amazing! The location was fantastic for our needs since we had a rental car, but it was sometimes a bit tricky to find street parking. Always found it, just had to walk a block sometimes. Host was super nice and communicative. The one downside is the noise from the host's family is so clear in the morning... even though they are likely trying to be quiet, the footsteps on the floor (the guest suite's ceiling) was super loud and we could hear voices as if they were much closer. This made it difficult when they were all up before 8am the morning after our late arrival. The next morning the noise didn't start until after 8am, but was still there. Overall, a wonderful place to stay for exploring the area, but be careful if you want to sleep late every day.

We live upstairs, when we moved home from Ottawa during the pandemic, we hoped to be able to rent part of our home. Throughout our travels, we often fantasized about hosting people in a place of our own one day...and here we are!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The main unique draw of this property is it's modernity and location. There are few places on either VRBO or Air B and B so close to the Lions Gate Hospital, all the restaurants and shops of central Lonsdale and the local mountains (Grouse, Cypress, Seymour). This spot is a great jump off point for adventures like, skiing, hiking, rock climbing, boating, kayaking, sailing, breweries etc.
