The Space:

A welcoming modern home that can comfortably accommodate up to five guests. It offers two bedrooms with queen beds each, a TV room with a sofa bed for the fifth guest, one bathroom, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Moreover, it has an open layout including a great patio and backyard -- this awesome space will surely capture your heart!

We do not allow any kind of parties. Disruptive noise levels between the quiet hours of 10 pm - 9 am will not be tolerated. Thank you for understanding.

Great home in a great location

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. The location was very convenient to the arboretum and several restaurants and was very quiet.

Wonderful hidden gem

The property is in a great location and we really enjoyed it. The breakfast nook in the kitchen was a nice spot for my mom to enjoy her morning coffee and knitting looking out over the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed, the towels and linens were good quality, and the beds were very comfortable. The heated bathroom floor is a welcome nice touch as well.

Charming Location

We enjoyed our stay here. There was a small issue with one of the rooms, but the host did their best to resolve it and ultimately we found a way to make it right. Only reason ranked it a 4/5, otherwise we thought the home was great! The location is wonderful, quiet street with easy access to the arboretum and other places in Seattle like Madison and Capitol Hill. Charming backyard with lots of shade if you go in the summer.

We wish we had done a bit more research before booking as we wished we had stayed closer to the main action of Seattle. The house was clean but not to a high standard especially the laundry and the bathroom ceiling. There was a strong smell down stairs. Other than that the place was well equiped, good cooking facilities, nice area.

Basement bedroom

The listing doesn't say that the second bedroom is in the basement. Despite decorating in white, it still smells and feels like a basement bedroom, which we disliked and didn't use. The TV only works through apps (no network available). The rest of the house is nice and in a good location.

Great location but very grimy not good for kids

This unit has a great location, centrally located in a nice neighborhood right next to the arboretum. My biggest complaint however is the overall cleanliness. The basement was musty and nearly all corners, walls, baseboards were either dusty, had spider webs, or had prior water damage stains, I felt bad making the kids sleep down there but it was the only option for us. The carpet in the basement was musty and had large stains in several locations, upstairs in the unit the same issue with cleanliness, the couch was completely gross with a huge amount of dust, hair, grime, on it. The basement laundry situation was also gross and whenever you use the dryer the entire basement becomes a moisture trap so bad that water drips from the walls in the laundry room, someone should definitely look into the dryer ventilation, The seating in the house is all very hard and uncomfortable. My family complained there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the unit. The backyard looked nice in the picture but in reality it is a giant hill so there is limited room for the kids to play,. the unit it definitely not child safe due to the kick knacks around the unit (decorative rocks , trinkets etc) so we spent a lot of time chasing our kids away from dangerous things in the house. Additionally under the sink in the unit was a very dangerous exposed electric socket (no cover) which my 3 year old discovered for us since it was right at eye level for her, I was not happy with that and informed the rental company who said they would fix, At the end of the day we spent a ton of money renting this unit but felt that we didn’t get our moneys worth compared to other units we rented in the past. We would not rent this again.
